What if Your Friends Visited Your World? (Ft. Grim, Ace, Deuce, Jack and Ruggie)

Ever since Headmaster Crowley had managed to find a spell that allows you to go back and forth between your world and Twisted Wonderland, your friends (especially Ace and Grim) had been bugging you to take them to your world ever since.

But you always declined as you still had your duties as a student, prefect and Dorm Leader at Night Raven College.

However, that didn’t stop your friends from asking you numerously though.

“(Y/N)… Why won’t you bring us to your world?” Ace asked you once again as you did your homework.

“Well, one, it’s a school day and we have a pile of homework, don’t we? Two, my world has no magic in it, so I don’t know why you guys would want to visit it in the first place. And three, you guys should better worry about your homework as well.” You replied in one breath.

“But! We want to see your world!” Ace said back.

“Ace, we shouldn’t pester (Y/N). If she doesn’t want to bring us, we should respect that.” Jack said to the Heartslabyul dorm member.

“You have no place to talk Jack, you also wanted to see (Y/N)’s world, you even asked her yesterday! Same goes to you Deuce.” Ace immediately retorted. Deuce gave his friend a ‘But I didn’t even say anything’ look. Jack let out a small growl, knowing that Ace was right. He did want to see your world, he, alongside Ace, Deuce and Grim wanted to know more about your world and hopefully understand you better.

Also, they wanted to see what a world without magic looked like, what sort of transport did you use? What kinds of non-magical items were sold at shops? How were you able to survive so long without magic? Their curiosity had been piqued and they had to know.

But for now, you payed them no attention as you focused on your work.

“Face it Ace, I tried to ask her all day yesterday.” Grim said from your lap, looking at the homework you were doing, trying to understand it as well. You hear a sigh from Ace as he turns to his homework.

You were feeling a little bit guilty, after all, they did ask you multiple times and you knew their intents were genuine. The only reason you didn’t really want to show them your world was because you were afraid of them pitying you. Ever since your arrival at Night Raven College, you had learnt to survive this long without magic, you were pretty proud of yourself and the last thing you needed was someone pitying you.

But, your heart told you that they wouldn’t do so and that you should just trust them. They truly wanted to explore your world and learn more about you and where you came from, all you had to do was give them a chance. And so, you’ve made up your mind.

You sighed and put your pen down. The boys looked at you in surprise.

“(Y/N)?” Deuce asked you.

“Are you guys free tomorrow?” You asked the boys. They looked at each other before slowly nodding their heads, unsure why you had asked them that question.

“Alright then, let’s go ask Crowley later for permission to go to my world tomorrow.” You said to them, a small smile plastering itself onto your face. The boys’ eyes lit up when they heard you say so.

“R-Really?” Deuce asked.

“You mean it?” Ace continued Deuce question.

“Of course, but, you guys better behave in my world.” You answered and the boys let out a small cheer.

“Now, quickly finish up your homework, we’re going on a one-day trip tomorrow.” You added on

“Absolutely not!” A voice suddenly yelled out, shocking the 5 of you.

“H-HEADMASTER?!” Ace, Deuce and Jack yelled in shock. You turned to see the Crowley standing behind you with his arms crossed.

“Headmaster…” You muttered.

“I will not allow this ‘one-day trip’ of yours.” Crowley said.

“But why?!” Ace whined. Could you blame him? He and the others worked hard and after finally getting your permission to take them to your world, Crowley just comes in and shuts them down? Unacceptable!

“I cannot simply allow 5 first-years to go into a place of unknown! Well, unknown to 4 of them.” Crowley said. “However, unless you can find a dorm leader to go with you or an upperclassman, only will I allow it, since I am very kind.” The headmaster added.

“Wait, why can’t you go with us headmaster?” Deuce asked the man standing before the 5 of you and giving this lecture.

“I have business to take care of tomorrow, therefore I can’t accompany you all to (Y/N)’s world.” The headmaster said. “Until you’ve found an upperclassman or dorm leader, this trip is banned.” Crowley said and turned to leave.

“Ugh, where are we supposed to find a dorm leader or upperclassman who would accompany us?” Ace said, bringing his hand to his face in a face palm. “I know Riddle isn’t going to tag along since he would probably be studying his head off.”

“Clover-senpai and Diamond-senpai did say they had something to do for the weekend as well, so we can’t really rely on them.” Deuce let out a small sigh.

“Leona-senpai isn’t any better, he would just say that he’s too lazy if we asked him.” Jack said, his ears drooping slightly.

“There has to be an upperclassman that we could ask.” Grim said and you looked around, letting a certain student catching your eye, a student that could potentially save your trip.

“Guys? I think I just found our caretaker for tomorrow.” You asked your group of friends and they looked at you, only to find you staring in a direction, so they followed your gaze and found Ruggie sitting at a bench, eating his lunch.

The 3 boys shared a look with each other, Ace and Deuce letting a small smirk appear on their faces while Jack just stayed silent, but internally, Jack was also smirking slightly.

“Ruggie/Bucchi-senpai…” Ace and Deuce muttered while they rose from their seats. “Excuse us for a moment (Y/N)…” Ace said as he and Deuce walked away from your table and proceeded to head in the direction where Ruggie was located.

After following Ace and Deuce with your eyes with a little while, you turned back to look at Jack. The Savanaclaw first-year just stared at you for a little while before closing his eyes and reluctantly standing up. “I-I’m going to follow them, to make sure they don’t do anything stupid.” Jack said as he too walked towards his upperclassman’s location.

Your eyes then settled on the furball in front of you.

“Well, what do you want? We better finish this homework so we could go on that trip tomorrow yanno?” Grim said as he focused on the homework, not wanting to meet your eyes. You gave him a little pat on his head as you giggled.

“Yeah, let’s finish up this homework for now.”

The next morning, the sun shone on you as you embraced the comfortable warm that surrounded you. You were outside of your dorm, waiting for your friends and Crowley to arrive so you could go on the trip back to your world for a day.

“Fgnaaaa, why are we out of bed so early?” Grim asked as he let out a small yawn.

“Well, Crowley wanted us to be early so we get to spend more time at my world.” You answered the furball who lied on top of your head.

“(Y/N)!!” You turned to see your friends and a somewhat sleepy Ruggie with them.

Looks like the first-years succeeded in their attempts to get an upperclassman huh? It kinda makes you wonder what they did to succeed… But I guess it’s best if you didn’t know dear Reader-san.

You waved to your friends, signalling them to come over to your spot in front of Ramshackle Dorm.

“Glad to see you guys made it.” You smiled to them. They nodded.

“Of course! Why wouldn’t we make it?” Ace asked.

“Yeah, we worked hard to make this trip happen after all!” Deuce said. You felt a bead of sweat drop from forehead as Deuce said so.

“Yeah, yeah, you guys did work hard, but, where’s that lazy headmaster?!” Grim asked from on top of your head. But as he did, you saw the faces of Ace, Deuce, Jack and Ruggie going pale.

“Oya? Grim? You were talking about me?” An all too familiar voice can be heard from behind you. You then understood why your friends’ faces going pale.

“Fgna!” Grim whimpered as you turned to see the headmaster of Night Raven College standing behind you.

“I’ll pretend to not hear that, for I am so very kind.” Crowley said with a smile. You let out a nervous smile and thanked the headmaster.

“Now, please group together so I can transport you all to (L/N)-san’s world at once.” Crowley said and the 5 of you, not including Grim since he was located on top of your head, got closer together. “Now, (L/N)-san and Bucchi-san, please take care of the first-years for me, make sure they don’t ruin our school’s name on the other side.” Crowley added, looking at the two of you.

“Yeah, yeah headmaster…” Ruggie said and you nodded.

“Alright, now, I will only allow your trip until 5 o’clock. By then, you will be transported back immediately.” Crowley said and he readied his magical pen. “Have fun you all.” Were the last words you heard before a bright light blinded you.

When you came to, you realize you were on the sidewalk of a street that you were familiar with, it was a small shopping district that you always went to before going to Twisted Wonderland.

“Ah… I remember this place…” You muttered in a soft voice as you looked around, reminiscing your time there. All the people you associated yourself with since you were a frequent customer there.

“(Y/N)?” A voice called you, snapping you out of your thoughts and making you remember the why you were there in the first place. You turned to see Ruggie and Jack walking up towards you.

“Hmm? Where’s Ace, Deuce and Grim?” You asked the two Savanaclaw boys. They shrugged and shook their heads, signalling that they too didn’t know where the two Heartslabyul boys and one furball either. You were getting worried.

What if they were transported to another place instead?

What if they didn’t even make it?

What if they-

Wait… No… You heard yelling… Very familiar yelling.

“GRIM!! STOP!! WE HAVE TO FIND (Y/N)! ACE HELP ME OUT!!”

“I AM!! CAN’T YOU SEE?!”

“FGNAAAAA YOU CAN’T TELL ME WHAT TO DO! AHAHHAHAAH!”

Yep, VERY familiar yelling indeed.

“Ruggie, Jack, mind accompanying me to catch a certain dumb furball?” You asked the two boys ‘sweetly’. Ruggie and Jack could feel themselves stiffing up due to the aura you were giving off. It was a very dark aura… Some might even say it’s murderous. The two Savanaclaw boys didn’t even DARE to say no, so, they just quietly nodded their heads.

“Alright, but remember, no magic.” You said with a ‘sweet’ smile on your face and ran off to the direction of yelling. The two Savanaclaw boys just shared a glance at each other.

“Is… Is this what always happens at your outings?” Ruggie asked his underclassman.

“Yes. This always happens.” Jack replied. Ruggie just let out his infamous snicker in response before the two of them followed you.

And, after spending a good few minutes trying to catch a runaway furball and said furball earning an earful from you about how he should act like a cat that couldn’t talk, you and your friends finally manage to go around the shopping district, with the boys looking in awe at every direction. Everything fascinated the boys, they were intrigued with how mundane and normal everything was to you but to them, it was magical.

They even thought that cars and other vehicles were secretly powered by magic but when you told them no and explained how motors worked, they just looked at you in shock. How did you know so much?! WERE YOU SECRETLY A WITCH?! You laughed a little at their expressions and walked away, with them staring at you and following you shortly after, demanding that you share with them all your secrets and knowledge.

“We should probably go get something to eat as well, I’m starving.” Ace said after learning so much about your world.

“Who knew you guys seriously didn’t have magic?” Deuce said.

“Well, to us, magic was just fantasy… I didn’t believe in it until I met you guys.” You calmly replied. “But, yeah, I know a small little café around here that serves good food.” You said and looked around, trying to find the café that you mentioned.

“Ah, there it is. Come on.” You signalled your friends to follow you to the small little café. While walking towards there, something had caught your eye, but you said nothing.

Once you guys got there, you all sat down at a table and placed down your orders, but, you ordered an extra set of food for you. When the waiter had taken your orders and walked away, Ace teased you on it.

“Who knew (Y/N) was this hungry?” Ace said with a smirk.

“Well, technically, it’s not for me you know?” You said, petting Grim on your lap.

“Is it for me? I mean! Meow?” Grim said, looking at you.

“(Y/N) already ordered a tuna sandwich for you Grim.” Deuce replied to the furball in your lap and said furball let out a quiet little cheer. You just smiled.

The waiter then brought you and your friends your food. You had asked the extra set of food to be packed up instead.

“(Y/N), I don’t mean to be rude but, I don’t think you should simply waste food you know?” Ruggie said to you. You were taken aback for a second, you then remembered Ruggie was very sensitive on this subject due to his background and hometown.

“Don’t worry Ruggie-senpai, I’m not wasting the food.” You said to your upperclassman. “Oh, could you guys take care of Grim for a little while? I’ll only take 5 minutes or so.” You asked your friends as you stood up and walked away with the packed food. Your friends’ gazes following your leaving figure.

“Where is she going?” Jack asked and the others just shrugged. Well, except Grim, he was too focused on his tuna sandwich to even care at that point.

You left the café and continued walking for a little while before stopping and squatting down. Your friends were confused, but after you stood up and left, they widen their eyes.

You had given the extra set of food to a beggar and a child outside of the café. It was them who had caught your eye while you were walking towards the café.

Truth be told, the boys were shocked. They immediately had a new level of respect for you. Especially Ruggie, never had he seen someone who would go to such lengths to help people like him.

Who knew you were secretly an angel in disguise am I right? Bless you dear Reader-san.

When you came back to the table and sat down, you noticed that all the boys were looking at you with teary-eyes. You were confused.

“What?” You asked. They all gulped.

“N-Nothing.” They replied and immediately focused on their eating while simultaneously trying not to cry. You just shrugged and you guys ate your food in peace.

After having that lovely meal, you guys went around a few shops and just did some window-shopping. Ace and Deuce popping a few questions about certain tools and stuff here and there while Jack and Ruggie were also asking questions but it wasn’t as much as Ace and Deuce. Everyone ended up buying a small little trinket or something to remember the trip with.

Hmm? What Reader-san? How did you get the money you ask? Oh! I actually don’t know. You should try asking Crowley! After all, it was him who gave you the money Reader-san!

It didn’t take long before 5 o’clock arrived and you were all transported back to your humble Ramshackle Dorm.

“Well, it was fun going back for a day, but, I’m more comfortable here now.” You said to your friends while looking at Ramshackle Dorm. “I’m more used to Twisted Wonderland than my world.” You continued and turned to your friends.

“I hope you guys had fun.” You said to them with a smile on your face.

But suddenly, Ace, Deuce and Jack took turns in giving you a one-second hug. You were surprised, so surprised that you couldn’t register a response.

“Yeah! We did! Thanks (Y/N)!” Ace said as he, Deuce and Jack pulled away and ran off with slightly blushing faces, presumably back to their dorms. You stared at them for a little while before shaking your head a little, trying to pick up your scattered thoughts.

Before you could fully register what had just happened, Ruggie came up to you and hugged you as well, but his hug was even tighter.

“Thank you (Y/N), don’t ever change.” Ruggie whispered to you before pulling away and walking back to his dorm as well, a small smile present on the hyena’s face.

Whoops! Looks like your brain malfunctioned Reader-san! CALL AN AMBULANCE!

“Fgnaaaa, (Y/N), come on, let’s go in.” Grim told you and you shook your head once more, snapping yourself out from your thoughts and confusion.

“A-Ah, yeah, let’s go.” You said and followed Grim into your humble Ramshackle Dorm.

Remember when I said that the boys had a new level of respect for you? Yeah, that slightly changed your daily life!

Ace, Deuce and Jack kept asking how your day was, how your homework went and just caring for you a lot more in general. Ruggie also cared for you more than usual, walking you to class, asking if you had enough to eat and even sharing his food with you! Grim was a LOT more clingy towards you as well! Like, Lucius clings onto Trein level of clinginess!

Confusion hit you HARD and you still didn’t know what had happened to make your friends change. Well, now, you shouldn’t be confused, since you read all of this right? Yeah, let it all sink in :)
