Spring auditions at the Lanakila Ballet Conservatory are meant to be taken seriously – no one knows this as well as Gladion.

And no one disregards it quite like Moon.

“Pardon my reach.”

Her words barely reach his ears over the headphones he has in, her leg sliding right in front of his face at the barre. With a huff, he tears out an earbud, the tranquility of his warm-up playlist now sharply contrasted by the myriad of other voices in the crowded studio. Moon’s face remains an unbothered smile even as he bites out, “Can I help you?”

“I’ll only be a moment.”
