My earlier brushes with Glenlossie were quite positive – both from That Boutique-y Whisky Co and then later in Berlin with a fabulous Sharing Angel. I was completely pre-disposed to enjoy, hoping to discover something interesting. It was fitting my tasting companion for the evening was the same Angel I shared the earlier Glenlossie in Berlin.

GlenLossie 1995 23 year old ‘The Celebration of the Cask’ Carn Mor.

Rich Lossie likeness fruits and bitter sweet malty GlenLossie. Honey and touch of malty, slightly muscat, vanilla and citrus aroma. Calm estery fragrance. With oily mouthfeel, gooey pineapple and citrus, malty with acridity flavor with zesty peel bitterness and much spices. Spicy finish then cacao powder and acridity, hint of herb and intense bitter sweet malty remains.

I would withhold detailed comment as I drink too much. Gooey fruits with lime and robust malty flavor stuffed.
