Carnation: If I handed you a concert ticket right now, who would you want to be the performer?

The National, one hundred percent. They’re absolutely my fave band rn, and their recent live album solidified my dire need to see them live. Matt Berninger’s voice cracked by fucking egg because of how much I longed to have the voice to sing his songs.

Locust: What was your favorite book as a child?

As a little kid, Incredible Comparisons and a lot of things like that. When I got slightly older I read the Guinness World Records book, a lot of astronomy and space-themed books, anything about nuclear energy or chemistry, etc. Definitely was more of a nonfiction kid. Bloomability by Sharon Creech was probably my favorite novel though.

Aster: Would you rather be cold or hot?

Hot. I’m already cold. Even though testosterone has helped with that somewhat, I’m still convinced my body runs at fuckin room temperature. When people touch my hand they pull away in fear. 0/10 not a fan of the cold.

“I’d say it’s people making promises they can’t keep. If you’re going to have a new feature ready for testing by Tuesday, have it ready by Tuesday. If you say you can come in on Friday, then you had better come in on Friday,” he answers, looking annoyed just thinking about it.

He had clearly run into quite a few people who didn’t take commitments quite so seriously.

“You should apply that same level of responsibility and intentional consistency to your relationships as well. It was one of the traits I most admired in my mentor, Amanda Stern. If she said she would do something for you, she would do it, but she expected you to meet that same high standard. It’s something we could use more of as a society.”

so I’ve never heard of this test in my life which made it kinda interesting to try, because I didn’t even have a guess beforehand - but he got Archetype 5, the Seeker/Warrior:

Definitely sounds right to me. He’s a very independent personality and I like to think he almost deliberately sets himself unachievable goals.
