Seeing Stars was such a joy to read! I loved the characterizations of everyone involved - Harry, Draco, Hermione, Pansy, and Charlie - and the dialogue was fantastic. I’m a sucker for the ‘falling for each other under secret names’ trope and glitter did it perfectly. this is a sweet, delicious oneshot perfect for anyone looking for a palate cleanser or a day-maker.

3. Which of your fics was most different from what you usually write?
I think the obvious choice is Find your own heaven since I rarely even read AUs, let alone write them (also, like I mentioned in my previous ask, while I enjoy the second person POV I haven’t done it much). But I had to go through with this idea (if only to make Etalice cry).
But also my newly posted This feeling inside is different in that I’ve never tried to write epistolary before, and it was really fun exploring Harry’s mind and try to navigate his bisexual awakening. And both fics were a struggle how to portray the smut in a realistic way without getting into too much detail

Did you discover any new authors that you love this year?
Yes! Right before this year went completely off the rails, I managed to go to London with a fellow book loving friend, where we spent hours in bookshops, as you do. I picked up a couple books, and they were all great! The two authors I’m following for new releases are Natasha Pulley (she has one on the way for May next year!) and Kate Mascarenhas (her latest book was published in November and I’m expecting to unpack it come Christmas. I dropped a lot of hints.)
What reading goals do you have for next year?
Make more time to read, really! You’d expect a librarian to read a lot, but honestly - we do not read at work, and at home it often is the first activity to be dropped in favour of housework or drawing. I’m planning to make myself a proper reading nook next year.

If I’m getting something from a vending machine, I got stuck out somewhere too long without a proper meal, I’m too far from a place to get one immediately, and my brain is crashing. I’ll usually go for peanut M&Ms in that case. Little sugar, little protein to carry me for a bit.
