Ok so this is something super cool happening at Coachella this year!
Both Saturdays at 1:30pm in the Sahara Tent, Global Inheritance’s Polar Bears will bring a surprise DJ to perform a special set! The purpose of it is to bring awareness to the environment, with high definition nature footage playing in the background provided by the BBC.
Global Inheritance is a non-profit that works to inspire people to care more about the world around them. Some past projects you might recognize them from are all of the uniquely painted trashcans around Coachella and Carpoolchella. They are unique in that they try to inspire people through creativity, which is why using a DJ set to bring some social awareness makes sense!
The special guest for each weekend will be announced the Wednesday before each weekend on Coachella and Global Inheritance socials. This is something totally worth checking out if you plan on getting into the festival super early!

Global Inheritance’s Trashed Coachella Art of Recycling Contest Bin (2/2)
[I was picked to be one of the winners and one of the requirements to get the VIP Coachella tickets is to redesign a real-life recycling bin to be used and displayed during both weekends of the Coachella Art and Music Festival.]
