1. Had another day at Jamalaide, and got a lot of development done. I drew up all the sprites, and we got the first level pretty much working. Still have more to finish up tomorrow, but it is now past 4am. What a crazy experience. - Using the skills I built up over the past year or so has proven really helpful, as I could do all the art that we needed for this quick project. 2. Met some more game developers that are serious about the industry, and connected well with them. Going to catch up with them later on and see what gatherings are in Adelaide. They are behind Two Lives Left, which are a company that is doing really well and had a booth at PAX. Something I will be talking to them more about for sure. - Staying at this event has been great for meeting others in the industry. 3. Spent a little bit of time at home while the nieces and nephew were over, and it was nice to see them. - They are such funny kids and it is great playing around with them.

1. Went to Jamalaide, which is the Adelaide group for the global jam this weekend. Went with Hung and met the people there and had a lot of fun brainstorming game concepts and designs. We were given a theme to work with, and are in the process of creating the game. Also met some really cool people, and would be keen to get to know some of them a lot better. Definitely a good move towards getting into more game development! - Found out about this when I asked Pete about game dev groups, and signed up for it straight away. One of the things I am doing more of this year is networking, and this has been a great start! 2. Went to gym and did my workout, and Loan came and did some physio work on my neck. It hurt a lot, but felt a lot better afterwards. What a legend! - Having mates that are physios comes in really handy when an injury happens. 3. Booked flights to Sydney for John's wedding. The guys organised the majority of it for me, which is awesome. - Again, having friends to help out with this stuff is awesome.
