Sleepyhead.
A little bee (probably Diadasia diminuta) sleeping in a desert globemallow flower (Sphaeralcea ambigua). Members of the Diadasia are sometimes called chimney bees, for the turreted entrances they construct for their underground nests. This species specializes on globemallow pollen.
