'golden flower' - oil on canvas, 2023

A little about the painting: i drew this one after i first read about him in The Silmarilion (of course i knew him in LOTR before) and i was inspired by his death. I mean, being killed by being pulled down by his hair is something that i found quite irritated at that time 😅. So i want my dude to rest in peace, surrounded with flower and green (i was biased, i know. I was in love with him after reading LOTR) 😋

I wish i have more time to make more oil painting 🥲

Maybe if the people of Gondolin gathered all their gold and shiny things to a huge stack and put Glorfindel in a shiny golden armor with his shiny golden hair on top of it, they could have distracted the dragons and saved king Turgon’s live.

silly fanfic scene where the MC gets stabed by a shard of a black sword and starts seeing the world like a Nazgûl. Glorfindel being aware of his "glow" on the other side and joking about it, consequently teaching his son how to blink with him. Two little Christmas lights of Middle-earth.
