“Mother, I don't wanna take my medicine 24 years in the gutter again,
I'm losing it I'm losing it
Everybody's acting like they're all alright I can barely get myself to sleep at night,
I'm sick of it Yeah, I'm sick of it
Yeah, they sent the taxman I lost my job, and
You got hooked on oxycodone
They shut the lights off They took the car, and I bought a sawed-off shotgun
Yeah, they sent the taxman I lost my job, and You got hooked on oxycodone They shut the lights off They took the car, and I bought a sawed-off shotgun
I'd rather be crazy than to take these pills I'm sick of being okay against my will I'm losing it,
I'm losing it
Ain't a thing in this world that I'm gonna miss It's all fake smiles and leather jackets We're full of it, yeah we're full of shit
I don't know who to trust...”

Thanks @fantasticalnonsense18 for the tag! I haven’t done one of these in a while and they’re super fun.
Rules: Tag 9 people with excellent taste.
Colours I’m currently wearing: electric blue and black.
Last band t-shirt I bought: the Arkells
Last band I saw live: Arkells, Big Wreck, and Glorious Sons at a summer music festival.
Lipstick or chapstick: I love, love, love lipstick, but this time of year I usually have to go with chapstick. #cursedcanadianwinters
Last song I listened to: "I Did Something Bad” by Taylor Swift
Last movie I watched: What We Did on Our Holiday.
Last three TV shows I watched: Brooklyn Nine-Nine, To Walk Invisible: The Brontë Sisters, and Gotham.
Last three characters I identified with:
Thirteenth Doctor (Doctor Who): Her high energy and passion for doing what’s right, no matter what the circumstances, really resonated with me in series 11. Oh, how I’ve missed the Doctor! 2020 can’t come soon enough.
Amy Santiago (Brooklyn Nine-Nine): I’m a nerd. A big, huge nerd who’s biggest goal in life has always, and probably always will be, academic success. I’m shamelessly a teacher’s pet and like to think I would do anything in my power to help my friends. Also, I look cute, but I’m ready to fite 24/7.
Dana Scully (The X-Files): Like Dana, I like to see the best in people, but I’m capable of digging deeper and seeing a situation for what it truly is when necessary. I would also 100% drop everything to chase aliens with Fox Mulder - and, not to mention, the woman can pull off a killer pantsuit. #Goals
Books I’m currently reading: Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë, I & I by George Elliott Clarke, Dracula by Bram Stoker, and Kissing the Witch: Old Tales in New Skins by Emma Donoghue.
I tag @noplacelikeacadiaroad2, @holdendadcliffe, @okayhotshots, @hypermanga, @fangirlandproudofit, @agentmanatee, @shannana-banana, @flipse, and @falloutswift
Everything is alright If only for the night And I forgot what it feels like
The Glorious Sons - Speed Of Light (Official Video)
Love this song- it's even better if you get to hear it live! The whole crowd is singing that bridge with their entire chest!
There are cracks in everything
But that’s not where we break.
Only when where we think we’re strong
Does weakness show its face.
- The Glorious Sons, “Don’t Live Fast.” (Please listen to them.)
