UNNAMED PRUSSIAN OFFICER / KARL X CIVILIAN ! READER ROMANTIC HCS 💌

ᢉ𐭩 How you two first meet could be interesting , since there’s so many different ways of such a thing happening . Maybe you own a shop of sorts and he comes by every so often to run some errands , maybe you two come across each other as he’s doing a small patrol or maybe you meet in a more dramatic fashion . Regardless of what it is or when it is , I would say your first encounter is straight to the point and wastes no time . He’s definitely intimating at first . He has a clean and neutral face but something about it is so nasty , not in like an ew way but in a way that he just looks like a nasty person . He has a somewhat half glare on his face , his lips curing downwards in a way where he looks like he about to curse you for some minor mistake . His actions don’t really help either . If you’re giving him something he takes it like he’s stealing it , if he’s helping you up his grip is creepily strong and he moves you around like a rag doll and if you accidentally bump into him or if you greet him he gives you a slightly annoyed huff and a quick glare .

ᢉ𐭩 After a while , the blight eventually overtakes kaub and you’re kinda forced into the castle for shelter , unfortunately stuck with him . You don’t see him much as he’s always with blütcher but whenever you do meet he still has that cruel face . An expression that falters for a second when his gaze comes across yours . Maybe it’s just the surprise of not knowing you were in the castle , maybe it’s the shock of seeing a civilian in the castle ! Whatever it is you’re left to your imagination as he quickly hardens and continues on with his duty .

ᢉ𐭩 If you ever come across him late at night when all his duties are complete and only those on night watch duty are awake you’ll find yourself questioning if you’re dreaming . His expression is less still than usual , his body not as tense as you always took note of . Something feels wrong yet you’re kinda welcome to it . He isn’t as intimidating when you find some pouring himself a cup of tea , sitting down and basically melting into his chair , like he released every stressing thing from his mind . When he spots you his head perks up a bit

ᢉ𐭩 If you agree to the offer he gestures to an empty seat , inviting you to sit down with him . He grabs another teacup , some floral designs painted on the glossy white porcelain . The tea steams as he pours it , the sound brining a sense of serenity to the table . The air is crisp with a scent of jasmine and some undertones your mind can’t put a label on other than “ pleasant “ . He gently pushes the cup towards you . A gentleness you didn’t know he had in his heart . You don’t shun it though - it’s much better than anything you’ve seen from him .

A heavy exhale entering your ears from the officer , taking a large sip of his tea . His eyes are half shut . Not in the glaring position you’re used to . His mouth slightly parts again , not to drink but to speak . You lift your head a bit in anticipation, awaiting his words with opened arms . But it never comes , he closes it after a moment of thought , taking another sip of his tea and turning his head again . His gaze falling to the top of his toes . It’s silent but it’s nice . It’s a nice change of pace to what you’re used to with the officer

ᢉ𐭩 the next morning you’re left thinking you hallucinated with how much of a switch up he pulled 😭 not only was his usual self back but he seemed to avoid you , like he didn’t want to catch some invisible YOU disease . It probably looks like he hates your guys even more but on his side of things he’s incredibly embarrassed to have been caught without his guard up and by a simple CIVILIAN no less !! 😭 poor dude is mentally crying and shrieking as he cares for the field Marshall

ᢉ𐭩 If you try to go up and talk to him he’ll probably jump at the sight of you approaching , he starts shuffling away …. Which in turn results in you basically chasing him / hj

But seriously he’ll definitely try to avoid the problem like a Brit avoiding the black plague . Whenever you catch him he gives up and just asks you to keep it a secret , his heavy looking like a defeated and tired parent . He’s only ever vulnerable with blütcher and maybe one other person that doesn’t reside in the castle so lucky you ^^ !! 🍀 and good luck to the poor officer

ᢉ𐭩 If you decided to stop after that you and the officer wouldn’t get any closer , matter of fact , you two would drift farther as he’d avoid you still . But obviously you don’t because why would you ( dw even though he hates it now he’ll appreciate it later on )

Mostly you’ll both get closer at night , when he’s too tired to leave his guard up and you happen to find him pouring himself a cup of tea . After the third time you notice he leaves a cup out for you , already poured . He begins expecting you , getting worried if you don’t show . He’ll check in the middle of the day when he’s passing by you asking you very quickly if you’re alright and walking off with a nod when he gets his answer . If you’re not alright - if you’re sick or you were feeling down that night , you’ll “ coincidentally “ be visited by the surgeon later that day ..

If you don’t show up again you’ll find a cold cup of tea outside your door the next morning .

ᢉ𐭩 He starts to bring little treats for you during these midnight meetings , small tea biscuits and sometimes sweets if he can find any strays . If you show any particular liking to one treat he makes an effort to get more in the future . Even if you just do a small micro expression you like it or dislike it he takes note .

ᢉ𐭩 Very observant I must say 👀👀👀

ᢉ𐭩 He starts letting his guard down even more . He’s smiling , chuckling at your stories , telling his own , being much more expressive and talkative than usually and eventually this manages to make it outside of tea time . His eyes soften when he notices you , you can visibly see his shoulders lose tension when you come up to him even if just a bit and you notice him sticking around you and where you usually are for a bit longer .

ᢉ𐭩 Confessing happens at tea time but it’s not verbal , it’s a small letter , hidden in an enveloped that’s sealed with a wax stamp . He passes it to you so discreetly you don’t even notice until the night is over . You may even forget it at the table and the officer has a pained expression when you leave and say goodnight without bringing it . By the time you realize it’s already morning . You run over to the kitchen and thankfully it’s still there , when you read it over it has very very carefully written words , hand writing so perfect you could mistake it for one of a princes . You almost forget about the contents as you’re entranced . It’s a love letter . And it’s addressed to you … from the officer … 😟😲

ᢉ𐭩 Yeah he definitely avoids you the whole day - like you two were back in time to the first morning after the first ever tea time . You only reach him at night , not in the kitchen like usually though . “ he’s out on night watch “ — you learned from a soldier . It’s fake and you two can hardly see himself , but he knew from those footsteps were yours , he could tell who you were just from the rhythm of your heart beat . He doesn’t hide or run like he’s used to doing , just stares at you with conflicted eyes . It’s best not to share any words , just share a quick kiss on the check and he’s quick to reciprocate .

Looks at you like this when you leave because you’re NOT staying up all night for him

DATING ::

ᢉ𐭩 Every morning when he wakes up ( which I gotta say is like 5 AM ) and he leaves to get to work ( usually a little over 6 ) he stops by your room . He knocks and lightly opens the door to poke his head in , If you don’t get up and give him a small good morning kiss on the head his whole day is ruined and he’ll be upset for a majority of it . He’ll apologize for waking you early . You two don’t sleep together but if you want to he’s not against letting you rest in his room - never your room though . He won’t be able to sleep 😭 he’ll be all pissy and whiny about it too , he’s gonna be complaining about how he needs the stuff from his room to get ready , how his morning routine will be spoiled with waking in your room , etc . That’s why he’ll only let you sleep in HIS room and never in yours .

ᢉ𐭩 He sleeps like a corpse and you have woken up before thinking he was dead and gone . He barely breathes , he doesn’t ever move , his arms are rested tightly against his sides and his legs are straight like logs . Cuddling with him is hard because of this . You’re free to cuddle him all you want but the most he can muster up in wrapping a arm around you , usually he just holdings your hand and moves his head to the side and places his chin on your head or his lips against your temple . Big fan of goodnight kisses too , won’t let you cuddle him unless you do so .

ᢉ𐭩 If you ever call him a pet name or god forbid his actual name he stiffens and becomes all cold again , he’s not used to be called something other than officer by someone “ under “ him , like a civilian . It’s hard for him to be soft around a civilian .

ᢉ𐭩 His love language is acts of service and quality time . He’s scared of losing you at any moment so when he can he spends his time with you - sometimes he accidentally drags you to do his work with him . By that I mean you linger around him as he does laundry or paper work 😭

If you complain about your clothing being dirty or something bothering you he does it for you without telling you so you won’t be bothered anymore . If you’re scared of the blight he lets you stay with him so you know you’ll be protected , if he isn’t available he may give you a saber or gun and gives you a small rundown on how to use it . If you’re up for it he’s very open to training you on how to wield them more effectively than a 10 minute rundown .

ᢉ𐭩 After the Blütcher incident if you seem sick he immediately throws you at the priest . He’ll watch you like a hawk and refuses to let you go to bed without checking your body for bites . He gives you a small kiss as an apology when it’s all said and done

ᢉ𐭩 If you’re having a bad day he lets you hug him ( even if he’s not the biggest fan )

If he’s having a rough day you’ll probably only know by him avoiding you more and working harder than usual , he doesn’t like seeing vulnerable . If you give him a small loving pep talk that’s all he’ll need .

ᢉ𐭩 If you stay by his side after he gets his throat injured , as he’s bleeding out , he’ll really wish he could give you a small kiss and tell you not to worry about it . He’s a strong soldier - and it’s his job to protect you .

ᢉ𐭩 non angst ver :: if you stay by his side as he’s recovering he’ll most definitely be very vulnerable with you , and surprisingly clingy . During AND after , never goes to bed without you . Your room isn’t even yours anymore 😭 and his room is BOTH OF YOU TWOS ROOM . The surgeon had to ban you from the infirmary because he kept messing up his recovery by trying to talk with you

His breath came out in quiet clouds, brushing against their hair as he looked down at them—so fragile, so painfully alive.

“You shouldn’t make me feel this much,” he muttered, the faintest waver breaking through his disciplined tone.

The stars reflected in his eyes like ghosts of all the things he’d buried—fear, tenderness, and the longing he never dared to name. Finally, his voice cracked in the softest whisper,

A Night at the Museum: Ferryman (Conclusion)

Finally, after all that chaos…the night is almost over.

It was interesting, you won’t lie, you did feel a bit of childhood whimsy in getting to experience something so…surreal. However, unlike in your juvenile fantasies, you were in no shape or form near the jaws of death so many times.

With a sigh, you slowly trudge back to the front desk and watch all the inhabitants go back to their original spots; everything has already been taken care of, so there’s really no reason for you to do anything else besides sitting still, letting the museum do its own thing.

Looking back, you start to recall all of the figures you got to meet on your first night, some more memorable than others…with a couple of individuals you felt more tender-hearted towards.

Taking a glance at a nearby window, you could barely start to make out the dusty orange haze that started to form at the opposite end of the horizon, signaling that the party was close to being over with.

“Taking a moment of respite, new nightguard?”

Shrieking and almost falling off your chair, you launch yourself a good foot away from the voice that sounded like it was whispered right into your ear–I thought we were over this by now!

Looking back to see who would have the audacity to startle you like that, you come face to face with a brown-haired, expressionless man. Looking at his clothing, he donned a deep blue military-style uniform, and the canteen that hung around the stranger’s waist–seriously, how many soldiers have you met by this point?!

What made this soldier much more unique in comparison to the rest that you’ve seen however, was the lack of a shako, instead replaced with a bloody bandage wrapped around his head, clearly having served its purpose as blood spilled down the side of his face, inches away from his small scar on one of his cheeks. Another thing that you note, was the long paddle equipped on the soldier, currently being used as a tool for him to lean on; no matter where you looked, you couldn’t detect a single weapon on this guy.

“Is there something on me that I should be aware of?” Giving you a lazy smirk, the amused soldier watched as you startled yourself back to reality, clearly embarrassed that he caught you staring.

“Ugh, dude, you almost scared my soul away-,” bashfulness now washed away, all you're left with is the building sensation of irritation you felt towards the mystery guy, and how he left you feeling like a heart attack victim, “I don’t need to end my first shift laying in a morgue.”

With a hum, the soldier saunters close to you–it almost looked like he was floating, given how he held himself in a graceful manner–leaning over, he began to speak as his eyes locked onto yours, “and pray tell, why exactly do you feel such a way?”

“Why do I–we playing 20 questions or something?” putting your hand up, you signal the stranger to give you some space, which he takes the cue and backs up appropriately.

“Dude, I don’t know if you ever saw me at all during this shift, but like, I almost died a million times…”

“You almost came close to death a number about 21 times, to be precise."

…Huh. 

“Uh–ok. Ignoring that,” trying to dismiss the oddly specific number that the stranger responded with, you try to redirect the conversation–though you find yourself going back to the topic, “if I almost encountered death so many times, wouldn’t you think that I would have actually died by now? Since you know–given the probabilities, surviving so many instances of fatalities is strange as hell, no?”

“Strange indeed, it was almost as if…something was protecting you through the entirety of the night.”

“Yeah? Well, I wish it weren’t, maybe then I wouldn’t have life-altering trauma after clocking out.”

All you get in response to that is a breathy chuckle.

…ok, who is this dude?

Daring to look him straight in the face again, you fire up your brain one last time and try with all your might to recall if you ever saw him at all during the tour with the previous nightguard.

You know for certain that you didn’t get to see all of the museum’s inhabitants, with some being located and stored away in the storage room, such as in the case of the Austrian and Prussian wax figures that you met. This guy, for all you know, could be a special seasonal figure the museum displays only on a rare occasion.

(The more you tried to make sense of this stranger's presence, the weirder you felt, as if something more unnerving were at play here–and yet–it didn’t exactly feel like that ominous feeling you’ve encountered throughout your shift whenever something was about to go awry).

His onyx eyes lock onto yours.

You had…never seen such darkly colored irises before.

In fact, they were so dark, you could see your image being reflected back—as if they were like mirrors…

“Who the hell are you?”

“I find myself asking the same dilemma.”

Unsatisfied with the reply, you back up a bit, realizing that you unconsciously scooched closer to him.

“I…I don’t know why but,” trailing off, you couldn’t help but vent out your feelings on this guy–almost as if his presence invoked some sense of vulnerability within you, “every time I look at you, I get such a–a strange feeling.”

Tilting his head to the side, you watch as he lets out a small little hum, taking a moment to pause and deeply think about your words.

“Perhaps…you feel a twinge of anamnesis?”

“Ana-wha? Literally what are you talking about–what are you, Plato or something? Enough with the vagueness."

Snapping out of that peculiar feeling you were in few moments ago, your annoyance towards the dude’s inability to give a straightforward answer has you huffing and puffing your chest; you just survived a whole night here at this sentient museum, you really don’t have the patience to put up with any more bs–especially with how sleep deprived your feeling now.

“Listen man, I don’t know if you heard,” shifting your body away, you try to wrap up the conversation, “but dawn is almost here. I think it would be in your best interest to go back from…whatever section or box you came from.”

The mystery soldier instead chooses to stare at you, acting as though he didn’t hear what you said. Getting irritated, you turn back at him, ready to repeat your words; within (quite literally) a blink of an eye, the man is a bit closer to you, locking his eyes with such intensity that you almost broke into a sweat.

“Ex morte, vita renascitur…” is all he utters out to you in a voice so soft, you thought it would have been impossible to have heard, had the museum not settled down by now.

And within the couple of milliseconds that it took to blink, the mysterious man is gone, replaced with the warm and soothing beams of the morning sun.

Everything is quiet now; there is no giant dinosaur fossil chasing you for a quick game of fetch, no more nomads hunting you down, no more paintings coming to life, no more wax figure soldiers trying to enlist you into a war that’s long since ended, no more taxidermy animals trying to outsmart you, no more undead creatures resurrecting and trying to maul you, no more weird anomalies that you’re 90% aren’t actual museum props–all of it. It’s over now.

Sitting in silence for a couple more moments, you take in the quiet atmosphere, mind replaying all of the things you went through. More seconds pass by, before you take a deep breath, get up, and start to head to the nightguards office to collect your things and switch out of your uniform.

The morning shift security guard is the first person to greet you (it feels so weird to see an actual human being after the past couple of hours). With a cheery demeanor, they ask you how your first shift went, and whether you think you'll stick with this job or not.

You answer the first question in a vague manner–it was very interesting, you know, just a couple of minor mishaps here and there, but nothing to be so concerned about. Though, the last question had you stopping for a moment: would you choose to stay?

Staring into space, you pause and take a moment to recollect all of the events that transpired since the very moment you started your night shift; all the feelings you had during the experience, the inhabitants that bustled within once the sun hid away–all of the good and bad. 

Of course, the experience that stood out the most throughout your shift were all the unique characters that you met and interacted with, all making such a deep impression on you that you don’t think you’ll ever really forget them–actually scratch that– you don’t think you’ll ever see museums the same after all of that!

You had also discovered so many more mysteries and secrets within the museum, held within both the walls and its citizens, all of which only made your curiosity grow heavier as you mused about it.

Do you want to continue on, and see what happens?

Watching you go dead silent, the morning shift guard started to feel a bit concerned, wondering what might be going on inside your head–was your first night really that bad? 

Ready to ask you if they accidentally offended you or something, you suddenly perk right back up and answer their question with honesty–well, as honest as you can sound without being at risk of getting thrown in a psych ward–before you start to leave the room with a wave.

“See you tonight..”

With your final answer in verdict, you both say your goodbyes and part ways; deciding to go the long way, you walk to the front of the museum; going past all of the figures, paintings, statues, anything and anyone that you encountered–seeing them in their normal state–though this time–equipped with secret knowledge about them that only a select number of people have had the privilege of gaining.

Making it towards the front, you weave past the first couple of guests coming in to see and explore the place, stopping one last time to look back at the museum in its peaceful state, before whispering out loud:

“I’ll catch you guys later as well.”

And with that, you walk out the back of the doors, preparing yourself for your next night shift.

ESPECIALLY if you’re British or American . You’re going to have to be like a cockroach with how persistent you’ll need to be . Good luck if you’re sensitive or short tempered because he’ll definitely he cursing you like you killed his mother or ragebaiting you like an edgy 15 year old on twitter .

ᢉ𐭩 Arnaud ( BEGRUDGINGLY ) starts to lean on you , you slowly grow on him like a fungi . He’s still mean to you but his barks lack bite , his eyes lack any real hatred and his tone falls fake . He’s a tsundare / j . I feel like this slowly becomes a kinda crude humor - like hitting you lightly in a playful way and insulting you in a clearly not genuine manner . If anyone tries to join in , thinking he’s hating on you fr , he gets so mad . Immediately yells the color out of the person 😭 he’ll go back to insulting you afterwards though

ᢉ𐭩 Regardless of platonic friendship or romantic partnership — he’s definitely the “ they asked for no pickles “ type of person . He will defend you and he will be VERY public about it . If you’re British he takes a minute longer to defend you / hj

However he fully expects you to do the exact same for him . He is a big ass coward and he will immediately turn to you like you’re his defense lawyer if anything happens . Think Romano from hetalia if anyone can get that reference . If you don’t defend him he will stop defending you

ᢉ𐭩 It’s kinda hard to see him vulnerable . Only times I can ever see that happening is whenever he’s scared . I like to imagine he gets behind you like a child if you’re near him when he feels threatened , sometimes you wonder how he’s a soldier . If he hears groans or anything remotely like a shambler he FLOCKS to you like you’re a crucifix . He doesn’t like it being brought up after though . It shatters his ego 💔 If you try to help him be more courageous he’ll feel a mix of offended yet thankful

ᢉ𐭩 He’s very clingy when you two get close enough , I feel like he’d have bad separation anxiety . Like BIG TIME …. He might hold onto your clothing if you’re in a crowd or always demand to be paired with either you or Jean for something . You know the place he stays during roscoff ? He definitely forces you to stay in it with him .

ᢉ𐭩 this gets worse after jeans passing . Either that or he begins to avoid you , it’s a 50/50

ᢉ𐭩 He’s not the worst friend but he’s not good at showing that he means well if that makes sense . Like a solid 6/10 friend in my opinion 🤓✌️

ROMANTIC ::

ᢉ𐭩 He doesn’t mind pet names when it comes to you but if you try to use pet names on him he IMMEDIATELY recoils . He ends up feeling like a little kid and he makes it obvious he’s not a fan . If you’re French he’ll make an exception because he does like French pet names .

ᢉ𐭩 I feel like his clinginess goes up by 10000% when you two get together , will throw a hissy fit at you if you leave in the middle of the night to go pee or something . Speaking of that , definitely cuddles you at night I have 0 doubt . Only exception would be if you two sleep where someone could spot you as he’s definitely not wanting to be caught in such a situation . Probably sleeps in the small area where he’s in during roscoff or somewhere in a secluded area in the church . I feel most of the soldiers , French or otherwise , aren’t a big fan of him . So he tries hard to impress you

ᢉ𐭩 Surprisingly romantic ?? Even though he comes off rough he’s very gentle when it comes to you . Gently takes hold of your hand and keeps eye contact and he places a small feather kiss on it , lends you his uniform top at night as a blanket , sings you French love songs at night and gently dances with you + teaches you if you can’t slow dance . Very much a gentlemen when it counts . His love is big and loud , but his romance is quiet and low , gentle like a sweet breeze . He gets a lot more lovey dovey at night — mainly because there’s less things to worry about and less people to be on the look out for . But also because sleepiness makes him lose all his pizazz, leaving him vulnerable and unable to fake anything or exaggerate anything . Same goes for the early morning . For around 30 minutes after you two wake up . He likes to wake up earlier than you so he can hold you for longer and take in your sweet expression , he says sweet nothings to you as you rest , things he’s too afraid to tell you when you’re awake and things he wishes he had the courage to communicate .

ᢉ𐭩 depending if you want to say Jean got infected and die or not , he definitely gets more anxious and scared about you . If you say Jean didn’t get sick and died then there’s not much to comment . His wingman is most certainly Jean though , he asks the French officer for advice ALLL the time and he’s 90% the reason why he even bagged you . Jean planned the whole confession and WAS there when he did so 😭 just off to the sidelines clapping and congratulating like he was at a concert LMAO . He teaches Armand how to be all romantic and what to do in a relationship since I imagine Jean was a big lover boy in his teen years a got with a bunch of girls ( and boys 👀 ) before settling with his long term wife .

10/10 partner , would recommend crying with after watching a sappy romance movie

- If he’s ever feeling funny he’ll ask what a French kiss is, pretending to be oblivious, just to try and get a rise out of you. If it works his giggling his was off, if you actually try to explain and perhaps even show all his confidence leaves his body and his shriveled up in embarrassment

- He definitely repeats whatever you say in French in a horrific American accent

But don’t worry if you seriously get mad at him he’ll calm it down. If you give him the cold shoulder no talk treatment he immediately gets off his high horse and starts apologizing and backtracking. But usually after he gets defensive and all ‘ fine, be like that! ‘ Yk

- If he ever feels bad enough he tries to learn french. I say tries because he immediately gives up and gets frustrated at the entire language. Cursing the most random French individuals he can think of

- If you’re trying to learn English and aren’t fluent he helps you out happily. If he knows you’re sensitive about your accent because you’re not a native speaker he won’t comment on it, and in fact he’ll get mad at people who do. If you’re talking and mispronounce something he just says the correct pronunciation of the word you just said. It’s quick and he doesn’t make too big a deal out of it. He lets you carry on unless you pause to get another hear, he’s happy ( probably moldy frustrated depending on the circumstances ) to say it as slow and as many times as necessary.

- If you get too tried to speak English and go full French he deadass feels like he’s high. He cannot understand a SINGLE thing and he cannot even fathom of trying to comprehend. He stares at you with you’re reciting the bibles original Hebrew text 😭 he won’t ask you to stop he’ll just sit there and take it, with tired and confused eyes.

- This is especially funny if you’re sleepily saying it to, slurring your words and all does NOT help bro 😭😭😭

- he asks to compare your inventory to his. Especially weapons, he’s a big weapons nerd. He might ask you to trade muskets and sabres sometimes, he always returns it in prestige, cleaned condition!

- If I remember right I mentioned Dopfer is a pretty big fan of music.

- He would frequently ask you to play certain songs and would hype you to death whenever you played ( unless it was in a situation where he could not )

- I feel that you being his lover just means that these are amplified by 10 fold. He definitely shows you off like a grammy.

- He appreciates whenever you play a tune— regardless of what context. Battle, background noise, late at night, etc. Speaking of late at night; he forces you to play him to sleep.

- Will get pissy if you do not or fall asleep before him. Yes he will not speak to you. No he will not make it through the whole day. Yes he is very clingy and will cry if you give him the cold shoulder back.

- If you ever play his favorite song you will be getting kissed to oblivion I don’t make the rules.

- Eventually he begins to say your music is a good luck charm. I always imagined him as a spiritual guy so he definitely believes your music holds some kind of power, he may ask you to play very specific tunes that turn out to be songs meant to summon power or good luck. Something along those lines.

- Protects you like a prized possession ( because to him you are ) whenever your group is fighting the blight. And also just late a night, scared that something might snatch up and get you. You’ll probably find him awake in the middle of the night, staring at you and looking around as if he’s expecting someone.

- Gods forbid you awake one night to find him gone, only to get up and look for him and find him speaking with Count Dracula or some other inhumane creature.

- He gaslights you after this / j

- Definitely kisses your hands before & after you play. ‘ To help your hands play better ‘, he states with a smug smile and a cheeky wink.

- He cleans your drum for you when you go to bed before him. And if you ever needed new drumsticks he commands his soldiers like a drill sergeant to find or make some ASAP!

- When the chance comes he definitely brings you out to play with other musicians.

- He might seem childish when it comes to your artistic talent but he’s just very admired by this skill of yours. He wants to hear it as much as he can, as he realizes there’s a secret timer ticking every second of the day.

- When he constantly pesters you to play, it’s because he wants you to be with him as much as possible. Keeping you playing is just one way. ‘ I need the morale ‘, sir Dopfer lied out of ass as he smiled and mumbled his clear half truth.

- He loves you dearly but he’s bad at showing that without being childish. He’s just bad at showing his true, authentic and uncensored admiration and devotion. But trust me it’s there. Just hidden away by manchild behavior
