Honestly it's kinda hilarious how his design was too much, and now it's too little. 😂

The character designs for Hokuto and Subaru are great. Upon first look I wasn't sure which twin I was seeing and that is EXACTLY the type of reaction I want for the two of them. Twin switcharoos were sorely missed from the original story, and I'm really, really hoping we get some new hijinks this time around. And it would put Hokuto in the middle of the action scenes. I appreciated that from the OAVs, and I think it's a story element the original animation studio(s) recognized that CLAMP didn't.

Talking about animation studios, GoHands has become infamous for how horrible Hand Shakers was.

I'm more than a little terrified.

Granted, I'm going off reputation, not first hand knowledge, so maybe I'm being too harsh. This may be a studio that needs an old popular IP to adapt for money. I know, I'm being very pessimistic. OR it may be that someone at the studio grew up with Tokyo Babylon and holds it very dear. Tokyo Babylon is beloved for a reason.

Have I gotten over it? Of course not! Today I was remembering and seeing the posts of the anime announcement and how happy I was and now I'm still hurt.

I keep going on the website and thinking that it could have been all different ... why ?!
