I think the communal world building is an ABSOLUTELY AWESOME IDEA GO MAKE THE BLOG NOW (you don't have to, obviously, I'm just excited)
The feedback on that post was pretty much entirely positive, so I think it’s definitely going to happen at some point! Like I said though, my co-conspirator on the project is currently studying abroad with a 7-hour time zone difference, so major progress probably won’t be made until we’re both on the same continent next month. I’ve considered going ahead and starting up the blog just to post our preliminary progress (which could be helpful for us on the admin end of things given we can’t show each other our ideas in person) but not accept submissions yet, but that’s still up in the air too.
Don’t worry though, once the page is up and running I’ll definitely be letting you all know about it!!
About Character A and B falling in love then after one of them has died, finding out they were sisters - this is the plot of Tolkien's Children of Hurin, or Turin Turambar. A leaves home before B (his sister) is born, and then B loses her memory, then they fall in love and get married, and B is pregnant, and as B is dying C (evil dragon who made her forget) tells her A is her brother.
