Writing takes you on a journey like no other. You can start out a chapter thinking one think and in the middle another thought creeps in and by the end everything went totally opposite of where you wanted to flow. This is life. As children we grow up thinking of how our lives are going to turn out way; only to find that somewhere in the middle of doing life a switch up happens. If you are like me you roll with the punches. But somewhere in the back of your mind you are plotting and scheming. We desperately ponder 🤔 ideas on how we can get back to the path we saw our lives heading. What if, the switch that takes place in the middle of life is there to place us on the path God himself design. The Bible says God will give us the desires of our heart, but this same Bible says that the heart is deceitful and wicked. How can we trust the desires of our hearts? What if the desires of our hearts are not what God desires for us? So my prayer is: God help us to see our heart's desires are not necessarily your God ordained desires for our lives. Job was right because his concept in general was not based on the principle of good and evil. However, he was groping in relation to the purpose for which God deals with His people. On the negative side, he was right; on the positive side, he was devoid of the divine revelation, not knowing that God's purpose in dealing with His people is that He wants His people to gain Him, to partake of Him, to possess Him, and to enjoy Him more and more, rather than all things, until their enjoyment reaches the fullest extent, as the divine revelation ultimately unveils in the New Testament, that His people may ultimately become the New Jerusalem. What Do I Desire?

What do I desire?

I desire to be surrounded by a good company of people.

What I mean by a 'good company' of people is people who encourage me to live out my life for God to the fullest, as each of them are pursuing to also do so.

How refreshing it would be to be surrounded by brothers and sisters who love on each other with no judgement or no selfish thought.

What a joy it would be to be around such people that bring out the best in me. 

I wait for the ones who will advise me and pray by my side.

I can't afford to be surrounded by people who are complacent with where they are now. 

Everything seems impossible to me at the seems.

But I know I first need to make this desire true about myself before finding in others. 

I need the wisdom that comes from the Lord,

without it I'll know nothing

I need to discern the Holy Spirit's leading

if not, I won't have direction.

I need the love of Jesus

because without it I lack everything. 

But Lord, I thank you for bringing people of the same maturity then me. 

And I hope that our friendship will grow all the more. 

I desire to learn from them, grow with them, and be encouraged by them. 

Don't let me give up so fast.
