I’ve been loving letting my skin breathe and not wearing makeup every day lately. In the past, I would not leave the house without wearing makeup. It was only a few months ago I started feeling comfortable going to work/gym/shops bare faced.
Earlier this year I started going to the gym, and like an idiot I wore some makeup, which gave me pimples. This is one massive reason why I don’t bother wearing makeup everywhere anymore, it just makes things way worse. I’ve also been keeping an eye on my nutrition this year, and I think it has improved my dark eye circles. My skin is looking better now than it has in a longggg time. Minus the sun burn on my nose and hairline 😂
I had cystic acne when I was a teenager. I also had little pimples since I was about 6 years old. So I’ve always been self conscious about my skin. It took so many years for the scars to fade. Sometimes you can still see some scars, but I don’t mind so much anymore.
I still am in love with makeup, it’s like therapy to me, I love getting glam and trying out new looks and getting a little creative. But I’m happy one of my biggest insecurities is fading.

I really feel I need to make this post. I know a lot of you follow me and have been following me for the vegan message I’ve spread for many years now. I am not going to stop spreading veganism but I also have other things I am very passionate about (which I’ve been suppressing), like encouraging women to say #fuckthesystem and instead PROUDLY embracing their true natural selves and I will now be posting regularly about that. I will be posting about dropping makeup, hair dye, shaving, painful fashion, mindless consumerism and other practices which I deem to be harmful cultural practices normalised by this sick money and power-obsessed society. Practices which support the denigration of women and (whether realised or not) negatively impact their entire lives and the female tribe as a whole. I myself have subjected my body and mind to this constantly over the years and I will not support this system of abuse anymore. I understand most of you following me still partake in these practices and that this may not suit you so I fully understand if you want to unfollow me. If you have the intention of diving deeper then awesome! Let’s do it! However, I really don’t mind if my follower count goes down to 100 or less as long as I am being myself and that those of you who are following me understand the importance of this message for upcoming generations and are also passionate about it. My page isn’t about getting maximum likes or empty praise but about going deeper into this global epidemic and forming a small but progressive community. Lastly, yes, you can always choose to do what you like, no one is forcing you to do anything but please remember the impact of your personal choices goes far beyond yourself. Please don’t settle. NEVER stop challenging yourself and questioning why you do what you do and where that feeling came from. Never stop working through the heavy conditioning that has been ingrained in you since birth. You ARE worth it. #gofreeyourself #barefacedrevolution #myrealselfie #frecklesarecool #vegan #girlpower #femaleempowerment #growingeyebrowsoutafter20yearsplucking
Thank you @feilvare . I strongly believe it’s important we continue to peel back the layers and transcend our social and cultural programming. Sure you can just carry on doing what you’ve always done and never question WHY you do those things or the greater impact your actions have. This is how most people live, and die, faithfully keeping the system of abuse and capitalism alive. In this day and age it seems that if you are in the majority with your stance on something you can usually find its roots buried deep in heavy indoctrination. So much so that people violently defend it. Just know that I’m here to peel and you are welcome to join me 💪#gofreeyourself #girlpower #femaleempowerment #vegan
Believe it or not this is the same person 🙋me. On the right I was presenting a false image of myself. The "pretty" me that impresses strangers. This fake face took around 40 mins to "perfect". Fake eyelashes, drawn on brows, heavy foundation (that looks and feels terrible in real life), concealer, blush, bronzer, highlighter, lipstick, heavy lighting, filters...(+ dyed hair), the works. Exhausting and suffocating for the skin!! Not to mention expensive to buy it all yourself! Ironically I was nowhere near as happy there as I am in the raw natural shot. 💁Feels good to actually embrace my natural face, ALL of the time. I honestly didn't realise it would be this liberating and rewarding 💪 Im considering doing a video showing a "natural no make up make up” look 😅 I know sounds like a contradiction but will make sense, also tips for those of you want to be confident without the face paint. 👊🏼#gofreeyourself #makeup #nomakeup#myrealselfie#femaleempowerment#girlpower#feminism#beforeandafter#fakereality#realface
I didn’t “put on my face” today because I already have a face and it IS good enough. ✌️ I didn't shave my armpits because hair grows there so it must belong there. I also have a furry muff 🤷♀️The only thing gross is the bizarre stigma attached to women embracing their natural selves. 🤢#gofreeyourself#myrealselfie#barefacedrevolution#bodyhairdontcare#nomakeup#makeup#bareface#vegan#rawtill4
Christmas is now one big orgy of consumption. Spending, spending, spending on mostly useless shit to impress people we don't even like. 🤷♀️ Buying puppies like they are toys, "What I got for Xmas" huge makeup & clothing hauls, people "celebrating" by feasting on copious amounts of animal flesh and secretions... DID ANYONE STOP TO THINK ABOUT THE TRUE COST OF ALL THIS? Sigh 🤦♀️Call me the Grinch but I stopped celebrating Christ-mas many years ago not only because I'm not religious but because the day has been exploited by big ugly corporate industries which I don't want to support. I love my friends and family and don't need a special day set by society to celebrate their existence. If you do celebrate Xmas then please #gofreeyourself and choose to have a peaceful vegan one with family and friends that doesn't strip the Planet of its resources 💪 #xmas #christmas #corporategreed #greed
