Serena has struggled with Cerberus a bit, mostly in trying to keep him calm around other dog-like pokemon (like Arcanine and Stoutland). He's a rescue pokemon she took in herself, after he was saved from an illegal fighting ring. Seeing those dog pokemon riles him up, as he fought other dogs and was hurt if he didn't win/do good.
Getting him to warm up to her was also tough, but thankfully, being a dark-type, he felt comfortable around her fairly quick. Serena didn't get off unscathed, though. He did bite at her hand once, and she counts herself thankful that she avoided getting burned.
So far, having Rose stay near him to soothe and calm him while he's around other dog pokemon is proving effective. Cerberus is very slowly, but steadily, relearning and adjusting his behavior. He used to immediately lunge for other dog pokemon, but now he has more restraint than in the past. He still isn't to the point where he can be left alone with one, but he's steadily improving! Serena adores him and loves having him around too, and doesn't regret bringing him in despite all the struggles they've gone through.
