the byler brain worm has really really gotten me lately and i love them so much they’re so beautiful and god i need them. before, i used to think i’d just be confused and upset if they aren’t endgame but fucking hell. now, i will be so. just so ANGRY.

IM GOING CRAZY BANANAS

OK SO. I was rewatching the episode "the vault" about Shoko. This takes place during the candy kindom's construction and we see this little peppermint character (top left) being trained by PB to do tasks for her, so i always assumed this was young peppermint butler but I just noticed something. HIS ARMS ARE WHITE. This sent me down a rabbit hole cuz peps has always had red arms, before and after the lobotomy juice. Then I saw how the peppermint character has white eyes, like Peps. BUT BABY PEPS DOESNT. I always thought that baby peps having black eyes and less stripes was a sylistic choice to make him look younger but maybe not? Cuz this clearly young peppermint character has white eyes and the adult amount of stripes. I compared this character to the other peppermint in the candy kingdom (middle left) but tho he has white arms, he also has less stripes, curved stripes, and black eyes. IM SO CONFUSED NOW. This mystery character has the same stripes and eyes as adult peps even though peppermint people can look different??? Why??? Then i found this picture from Peps' photo album in distant lands where he has black eyes and red arms that was pressumably taken before the lobotomy cuz all the other photos were. Im just confused now. If anyone has any theories PLEASE TELL ME. Right now, im thinking it could be peps but for some reason his arms changed? PB said that he liked exploding and getting scattered as a kid so maybe his arms legit just exploded and now he has red ones? Idk man im going crazy over this 😭

im leaving now but satoru with a baby fever is all i'll be able to think about tonight. he's so annoying about it and he's sure he'll be such a good father. every time he walks by a store and sees baby clothes, his eyes light up and he can't help but smile. his eyes sparkle at the sight of some toddler walking hand in hand with his mother down the street, and he tugs on your hand excitedly, showing you a tiny blue blanket he's pulled out of the children's area.

"baby, look. i'm going to buy it."

and he does, even though you're not pregnant, because he's sure that shade of blue is the same blue his future child's eyes will be.
