Casper got burned, what now?
We can expect some setbacks in Edward and Key's relationship. I hope it won't last long. I also hope we won't ignore that Casper started it.
As Pregrina would say, Casper is benched now. For how long, I don't know. A nurse can heal quickly, but a dragon's burns are super-special and incurable.
Unless the logic is that Surya's scar is curable, but can't be, because Surya cannot move on from his traumatic experience. Personally, I would've preferred if Dragon's burns were incurable, Casper forgives Key, and learns to live with his scar without hiding it.
Callista will be a lonely captain for a while, without her brother to keep her in line. I wouldn't be surprised if she's angrier at Key burning Casper than Casper himself.
There is a serious matter that no one has mentioned yet, from what I've seen. Caliban has to find out that his son has been burned. We know this school doesn't inform parents about anything happening to their children. Dino only learned about what happened between Key and Ragno thanks to Brunelka. Ragno's parents were never informed (orphan theory?). Key's father didn't know about his son's dragon fever, and I doubt anyone contacted Falcs's parents (if he has any) about his loss of Tama.
It's too far to inform parents. We know some of those kids come from different countries. Not really in a position to hold a family conference, and we don't know if there's an equivalent of a phone in this world.
Or that technically nothing happened.
Those won't fly with Caliban, because he's one gondola ride away, and there's no way he won't notice half his child's face is burned like a chicken nugget next time Casper comes home. He'll have mixed feelings. On the one hand, his child was hurt, on the other, his son started it. I think he and Dino should team up and defeat Surya.
It would also be awkward if Odward and Caliban met for the first time.
Caliban: Hi, you're Casper's teammate, Odward, right? Nice to meet you. Casper told me a lot about you.
Odward: Hi, sir, nice to meet you. Technically, we're no longer on the same team.
Casper lies in bed and wishes that Key would burn him alive.
