Make you purple all over.
Multitasking
Also called: “It’s the first week of the year and there’s already 20 mountains to move.”
After managing a temporary solution to the red pup threat by locking it in a room for testing, I could finally get back to everything else I needed to get done. A captain’s job is never done.
First stop: the art room. This week, the bros were tasked with taking an art class. Despite their moans and groans about how boring art is and that it’s “smart people shit” they’ve sure been enjoying it. Mostly because of the model. I’m not sure how much painting and sculpting is actually getting done.
I found him myself. Some fancy lawyer on his phone talking about objection procedures and their next discovery phase. Old people are right when they say phones are distracting. The poor guy never saw me coming.
He sure looks happy with his new temporary position if the tent in his new shorts means anything. Big dumb grin on his face, glazed eyes staring off into space, flexing like it’s his job (which I guess it is right now). It was fun changing him into this. I’d forgotten what it felt like to create my own personal art pieces.
Mental note: Raise transformation quota this year.
For the bros not in the classroom, we have them running drills to prepare for our first big match of the year. Regency Eleven isn’t a team to take lightly based on my research. They strike fast and hard, not in a dirty cheater way but just enough to make the weak minded question their place on the field.
But my guys aren’t weak.
I step out into our indoor field, taking in the action.
Ugh, some of these guys need a lot of work. I get we got some rookies and trades, it happens every year, but come on, bro.
“Ashton! Side of your foot, bro!”
“Cam, that’s not the right football and you know it! Put it back!”
“Harry, I know you’re not running on that twisted ankle you got yesterday! Recovery makes a bro’s gold shine brighter!”
Maybe Captain should be changed to Team Dad. Seems like a more fitting title some days. (Though I don’t think I want the bros calling me Daddy. Let’s not tempt them).
Last stop today: grocery store. I don’t normally do the shopping but I gotta pitch in where I’m needed. And today that means refilling the fridge with chocolate milk. I swear they drink enough of it for a small army. I’ll just fill the cart and go from there. Should I do two carts? I’ll do two carts.
They deserve it, after all.
My Sun and Moon card for the merch-zine These are originally my OC of an old comic, but due to censorship I drew them without any chemistry
