#goldesel #goldendonkey #makingof #visionseeds #storyboard Eine eiskalte Wüstennacht brachte mich auf die Idee, mich von der Kälte des Bodens mit der Rettungsdecke meines Erste Hilfe-Reisesets, welches ich nun schon siebzehn Jahre unangetastet mit mir trug zu isolieren. Während in Israel der Schnee das Land bedeckte, inspirierte mich auf der Halbinsel #Sinai mein Nachtlager zu einer bewegten Szene. Am nächsten morgen drückte ich der Beduinenfrau Nassra, die meine Ziegenherde hütet wenn ich nicht vor Ort bin die knisternde Decke in die Hand und liess weiteres einfach vor laufender Kamera geschehen. So trug sich die Szene des #Goldesels zu. Beim Sichten des Materials in Wien bemerkte ich das Potenzial der Goldplane. Da ich die letzten Jahre in beduinischer Tradition zusammengenähte Reis- Mehl- und Saatgutsäcke, mit denen die Nomaden ihre Ziegenställe bauen für Installationen und Bildträger meiner Malerei zweckentfremdete, wollte ich es nun mit #Rettungsdecken tun. So hat es sich 2012 zugetragen, dass die ersten spiegelnden Spiegeleier mit Fröschen auf Isolierhäuten kommunizierten. An icy cold #desert night brought me to the idea of #​​isolating myself from the coldness of the ground with the rescue cover of my first aid kit, which I had now worn seventeen years untouched with me. While the snow covered the country in Israel, my night situation inspired me to a moving scene on the #Sinai Peninsula. The next morning I gave the crackling blanket to the #Bedouinwoman Nassra, who keeps my #flock of #goats when I am not there and pressed rec on my camcorder. Thats the story behind this #golden #donkey. Back in Vienna I noticed the #potential of the golden blanket. Since I have used the past few years the #Bedouin #tradition of sewing rice, flour and seed sacks, with which the nomads build their goats' stables for my art installations and image carriers of my painting, I am inspired to do it now with rescue blankets.
