I originally intended to stitch the tail for the Big Fish, but while I was looking for something else in my stash of ribbons, I came across this glorious collection of dark orange ribbons and braids from @olivertwistsfibres and realised what a wonderful tail they would make! The deep orange is a wonderful complement to the pale underside and is true to the darker fins you often see in these fish. . I added some cream ribbons (also from Oliver Twists) to echo the light edges common to Golden Orfe tail fins and trimmed the whole tassel into a V shape - it gives the whole piece a lovely sense of moving through the water...🐟🐟🐟 .
