Today is Friday, and I would usually play tennis with ‘my team’ in the evenings, but it is also a Bank Holiday weekend, so the tennis club is closed. So, instead we went and played golf on a nearby 12-hole course (I had no idea such an option existed).
I hit some rather tasty bunker shots, and a particular highlight was my Jean van de Velde-esque shot from the stream (though I kept my socks on).
It was muddy, but didn't rain. Not the greatest round but it was fun, and good to do something different with the peeps. I fear my trainers might smell for a while,
