Well now that just sounds like the wrong way to do it.

it wasn't my idea! i don't think. i actually didn't follow the whole thing very well, so maybe it IS my idea. but what would you suggest is the right way to go about it then?

A little baby cherub toddles over to Opal, making fussy noises.

Opal is still a bit lost in thought as she’s trying to figure out what’s wrong with her head but that rabbit hole is stopped once her purple eyes spot some emerald green.

“Now where’d you come from...?”

Without any hesitation, of course she picks up the cherub. Not that anyone would expect any different.
