Yesterday I turned in my FINAL DEGREE PROJECT! And I got all my other work done last night! 

This is the first Sunday that I haven’t had something just hanging over my head that I should be doing. I wanted to just enjoy my day, relax. Finally. And ALLLL I can think about are fucking jobs. UGH. I just want to enjoy my life - I want to celebrate that the sun is out and that I won the Dean’s Research Award and that my degree project is done and that I am going to have a MASTERS DEGREE in three weeks and none of this feels exciting because I am still panicking about jobs. Please someone hire me soon.

Okay guys, the interview went well! It was a little awkward because we had to do a phone interview and there was construction outside my apartment that was just unreal and stupid loud... so I did my phone interview in the stair well of the building, because it was quiet. I am clearly killing it. I still dressed formally and was just sitting in my formal wear, cross-legged on the floor doing an interview. What a life.

Anyway, it was good! They want to make a decision in two weeks, which is FAST for academia. Interviewer seemed to like me, we had a really nice chat. He was very friendly! He had some reservations about offering me the full time position that included the lecturer position because my masters is in a different field, but he asked me to send some follow up docs and promised that he was going to try to sell it to their department head. God I sure hope that he does. I really could use all the good luck, vibes, positive thoughts, good mojo, and prayers you guys may have to spare. I really need this job and I think it would be perfect and really just such a blessing. Thanks in advance, all, you are awesome!!!
