Dead End Paranormal Park was really good but not just because it had a trans main character. It's because the fact that he's trans is an important and plot driving part of the show. The show would not work if he wasn't trans, and didn't have those moments where him being trans is front and center. It's incredibly important to the plot, not just a side note. The other main character is autistic, which once again, is a major plot point and the show would not work without that part of her. It's who she is! And the show doesn't shy away from that! The reason this representation is so important here is because the show is actually about its characters and their backgrounds, their 'minority traits' aren't just thrown in for points, it's legitimately part of their character. It's the most seen by a show I've ever felt, to the point where some moments genuinely hurt. Hurt in a good way, a way where I felt like my experiences were understood by someone. Don't pass this one off just because other shows don't use their lgbt and neurodivergent rep well. It's utterly and completely about them. As well as having a fun plot about ghosts and demons and HELL LET IT RAIN BLOOD AND BONES

I finished Carmen Sandiego last night. I have some notes.

*inhale* wHAT A GOOD SHOW. THAT SHOW MADE ME FEEEEELL THINGS. VERY GOOD THINGS. VERY SAD THINGS. VERY LOTS OF SCREAMING THINGS.

Characters amazing 😭. Devineaux was my favorite and I love him so much.

The show??? Is so smart???? Like not predictable?!?? To me at least :)! I love love love shows that are smarter than me and hit me in the back of the head with “GOTCHA” when I least expect it.

THE. ART. And not just the animation style! (that of course has me smiling and shaking my hands like a little baby, tho.) I’m talking about how EVIDENT it is that the whole crew of this show knows what they are doing and treats storytelling like an art form. UGH! SO GOod. So good. The story flows BEAUTIFULLY. And I feel good that I UNDERSTAND why they did what they did.

Overall I give this show a 8.5-9/10. GOOD. SOLID. SHOW. WOULD AND DO RECOMMEND.

HELLO CARMEN SANDIEGO FANDOM FKSKFKKEKFKDKF

Okay I’m from Boston so Zack and Ivy annoyed me a little at first bc I was like “... HEY. 👉👈 >:1 I don’t sound like that! And fkkskgks we don’t talk like that... and people their age do’t usually say wicked hnggg not unless they were joking about being Bostonian,,” but also I’m from the suburbs so what do I know. But!! After a while, I found them both so endearing. Their relationship made me so happy and the fact that they were their own people?! Both outside from the Boston stereotype AND each other?!? AAA I love em I’ll smooch em. My favorite scene of the whole show is probably them singing “More Than A Feeling” I WATCHED IT OVER AND OVER IT JUSF MAKES ME SO HAPPY.

HHHHHHHHHH VILE IS SO GOOD. I’M SORRY I REALLY LIKED THEM VILLAINS. It was really cool :)

The whole confusion about who should be against who and ACME and VILE trying to figure it all out and messing up who was fighting with who also made me smile. Idk ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ good storytelling

I was a little meh about how in the end they were like “oh just tell ACME where VILE is so everyone gets arrested and the day is saved ‘once and for all’” because,,, uh,,,,, couldn’t they have done that from the beginning, then? You know,, when they actually *knew* where VILE’s base was? Uhh??? If that would have solved everything then why did it take so long?

Hmf I’m annoyed that we never got Player’s real name. I’m fine not knowing Carmen’s because I feel like she was Carmen for so long that it probably less confusing when talking about her and using that, but fkkskfksjfusjsj I want to know Player’s. I read a single fanfic and the writer called him “Quinn”, is that a thing? I mean I like it. But Idk where it came from is all :)? Lmk tho👉👈
