Spent some time talking with an old community friend tonight, and… I'm just gonna come out and say it, this community-wide tension is literally so dumb of us.

You don't watch Seán anymore? You think he's changed or his content has changed? News flash: that's totally fine. People grow out of things all the time– it doesn't mean you can't cherish the good memories or friends you made through those things. It also doesn't mean you can't still love only some of what you used to love 100%. It's literally just fine to love what you want to love.

You haven't watched Seán in a while but still consider yourself part of the community? Another news flash: that's also totally fine. We're not here to judge each other based on how much we like certain things or meet certain criteria. We're here to have fun together, for heck's sake. You don't have to be all in 100% of the time to consider yourself a fan.

You watch Seán on the daily or close to it? You don't see what other people mean by there being a "change"? Oh look, another news flash: that's also also totally fine. If you like his recent content, then by all means, enjoy it! That's the whole reason he gives it to us in the first place, to enjoy it if we want to!

What we shouldn't be doing is turning on each other for having differences of opinion. Seán's gonna do what Seán's gonna do, and we don't get to control that. What we do control is how we treat each other, and how we treat him as a person. And the bottom line is, people change sometimes. Ourselves especially. Maybe the "change" people think they see in Seán is actually a change they're finding in themselves, I don't know.

I'm not entirely sure what my wrap-up point was going to be, but hopefully this gets some message across. Just to be 100% clear, I'm not posting this to start any sh*t with anybody, I'm just tired of the way the community has been for the past while.
