#goodbye chains

hi! i hope it’s ok if i ask about goodbye chains after all this time. i was a fan back in the day and i still think of it sometimes. is there anywhere to access or download all chapters? i know act 1 and 2 have download links available but i get lost trying to track down the rest.

GC was never finished, sadly. If you already have Act 1 and 2, then you have it all. I'm really sorry I couldn't finish drawing it.

I put off reading the last chapter/epilogue of Chains because I didn't want to say goodbye but IT WAS SO GOOOOOOOD!!! High Lord meeting? Amazing. Feyre eating a Hybern legion? Outstanding. Rhys misting 5000 Hybern soldiers cause he's all mating frenzied? Stunning. Kier getting spooked by feysand's sexquakes? Spectacular.

This fic has brought me so much joy over the past year and it is so bittersweet that's it's done. You always write feysand so wonderfully and I especially loved the versions of them in chains - they were so much fun! Genuinely one of my favorite fics of all time. Thank you so so much for sharing it with all of us and congrats on finishing! This was such a perfect (and funny!!!) ending!

I got burned one too many times as a teen. As a result, I am extremely cautious with webcomics these days. This makes me very sad. 

Pictured: Hanna Is Not A Boy’s Name (artist went MIA for 4+ years, abandoned the comic, never paid fans back the money they sent her) Goodbye Chains (comic abruptly ended on a cliffhanger and artists got offended when asked what their plans had been) Mad About U (abandoned 9 years ago without a word, after a pretty consistent update schedule) I Was Kidnapped By Lesbian Pirates From Outer Space (artist trapped in a contract with a bad publisher, struggling legally to get the rights back last I heard) Weregeek (entire premise revealed to be a lie several years into the story)

It’s well known that I cry pretty easy. The right line in a movie, tv show, or book will leave me in tears. 

If anyone wants to know there has only been one webcomic that has ripped my heart out. Goodbye Chains utterly destroyed me. I cried. Sadly, I went on permanent hiatus and it probably won’t ever be completely finished, but that scene STILL comes to my mind.

it is literally the best and only webcomic you need in order to know what webcomics are like. like imagine a vindiagram of all female-produced webcomics. Goodbye Chains is in the center of that vendiagram.

Hey, does anyone remember Venus in Points, that pointy dog comic that went with Goodbye Chains. I thought it was part of the downloads they put out when they ended GC, but apparently not. I really miss those pointy dogs. Does anyone know where I can find it, or if it can even be found?
