Well, today was my last official day at my job. I'm still technically on the payroll as PRN, so I guess it's my side hustle to pick up some extra money. And it keeps my seniority if they ever get in a position to hire me full time. While I am looking forward to my new job, I was sad to leave. It's rare to work in a dept where everyone does their job & gets along. And even rarer to have management bend over backwards trying to find a way to keep a good employee. It feels good to have your supervisor say their goal is to hire you back as soon as possible.
Now if I can just get the Board to sign my paperwork, I can get on with my life. I can safely say anyone who chooses to be a homemaker is crazy. These past few months I've felt like I'm losing my mind. I can't keep track of days. I can't justify going places & spending money I'm not making. And when I have all the time in the world, I can't find the motivation to do anything.
