Goodbye Rain || Allison & Kitty

Swallowing thickly, Kitty checks in with the receptionist that Allison is in her office and that she had some free time. Being told that she was alone in there with no consultations for the next hour, Kitty nods and therefore heads down the hall to meet her. Her heart was pounding heavily, her pulse racing, she felt hot and cold at the same time. She had thought about all of this through and through, had even practiced her speech, but somehow thinking it through and actually doing it was robbing her of all her strength and composure. About a hundred times on her way down the hall does she think about turning around and walking away... but she could not. Not again. This time, she would face Allison, and do this right. She gasps as she reaches the office, but rather than stopping by the door for a moment to breathe, she goes right in, knocking on the side of the door while making her way through the doorway. Her shoulders sink as she locks gaze on Allison and she breathes out, letting out a muttered, “Hi.”
