I got home today and Yabsera said, "Mom! I have something to tell you! Today was a good day!" I said, "That's great! What made it so good?" He said, "Nothing, it's just a good normal day. I have a good life." And then he showed me what he wrote on the chalk board in the kitchen. And made note of the quote "Wishing you Peace and Harmony - a quote by Yabsera Barr." Then he hugged me. 5th Grade Honors Night 2018. Where, oh where, did my baby Grace go??? She's successfully completed her elementary career and in the fall will be headed to 6th grade at the middle school. How is this even possible?? I couldn't be more proud of the young lady she has become. She's smart, funny, kind, caring, independent, a leader, determined, and stubborn. With these, I know she'll go on to move mountains and accomplish anything she puts her mind to. I can't wait to see what middle school has in store for her and us. I love you, my sweet sweet Grace.
