I know realistically it was probably for legal/financial reasons since she’s a minor but in retrospect it is INSANE to me that the actress who played Ruthye in supergirl was not involved AT ALL in the press tour / interviews / promotional circuit for the movie, from what I saw. we could’ve had a big sister / little sister dynamic through the whole lead up to the movie and then gotten to see it play out on screen. it’s only. you know. the foundational relationship of the movie (other than kara and krypto I suppose). she deserves to be there alongside Milly!!!! GODDDD we could have had it all. society if marketers believed that women were marketable.

#i have had a mild allergy to cloves (the spice) for years #first noticed it in high school #but ate half a samosa the other night and had a VERY BAD TIME #numb and tingly mouth and my tongue felt swollen and my head was pounding and I felt dizzy #and my breathing was shallow and my chest felt hella tight like the worst asthma attack I’ve ever had #and I broke out into sweats and had to lay down and felt like the whole damn room was spinning #honestly I felt almost like I was drunk in a very not fun way #and apparently ??? that was anaphylaxis #it did eventually taper off but I had gotten to a point where I thought ‘I should call 911’#but didn’t bc I didn’t think it was anaphylaxis #because I did not know the difference between anaphylaxis and anaphylactic shock #but I spoke to the pharmacist in the break room at work and she was like hey diva that is very concerning #CLOVES ARE USED IN SO MANY YUMMY THINGS #I ALWAYS AVOID THEM BUT I DIDNT KNOW THEY WERE IN SAMOSA #S*#i was eating it and thought this tastes a bit like cloves I wonder if it has cloves #googled it #it does have cloves #5 mins later I start feeling like the world is ending #10 mins later I’m struggling to breathe #thought I was just having an asthma attack or anxiety or something #I mean maybe I was #but regardless the pharmacist said it was concerning #so now I gotta go to an allergist too #and buy an epi pen out of pocket rn bc it will take me like fucking years to get into the allergist probably #so THATS FUN!!!#I understand allergies can get worse as you get older #but I didn’t understand that you can develop anaphylaxic reactions #at least! in Canada I can just buy an EpiPen without a prescription #just has to be out of pocket which sucks
