mephonex is genuinely one of the most terrifying concepts i've ever seen in an object show and i love it.

i mean. the idea of mephonex being a (presumably) entirely digital entity capable of sucking all of the life out of an object and rendering them soulless, inanimate husks? not to mention that they remain invisible to everyone except their chosen victim, so all that everyone else sees is the aforementioned victim screaming and begging for their life before it's all drained away from them, leaving them as just...an object. not a living, breathing, object; just an average everyday object that you'd see lying around the house or in a store.

it sounds like something that you'd see in some kind of horror movie, not a long-running, PG-rated webseries like ii. i was not expecting something like this going into ii16 and i love it so so much
