Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die

Summary: A man from the future (Sam Rockwell) suddenly appears in a random diner and ropes some of the patrons into helping him stop the creation of an AI that threatens humanity.

Runtime not felt, film itself 65% chaos, 15% satire, 10% unhinged Rockwell, and 10% real, actual humour. An absolute blast.

A cure for Wellness, Gore Verbinsky, 2016

Un jeune cadre doit retrouver le patron d’une grosse boîte qui se repose dans un sanatorium en Suisse. Film vraiment très étrange, mal foutu, entre Dracula et Frankenstein. Avec pas mal de scènes complètement “what the fuck”.

A man must find a big company’s boss, who’s resting in a sanatorium in Switzerland. Really weird and twisted movie, which uses sometimes the myths of Dracula and Frankenstein. And there are some really disturbing scenes.

Très bon film. Seule l'introduction peut susciter l'objection sur le fait de rentrer immédiatement dans l'action (pas de “montée” des moyens au fur et à mesure de l'histoire). Très bonne photo. Lumière clean. Johnny Depp et Helena Bonham Carter toujours impressionnants.
