I’ve been doing this on and off for 12+ years but I’ve finally decided to get my act together and transfer my reviews over here
many of the earliest reviews on here are from the vault, i.e. stuff already posted on Facebook, so writing and review styles will vary owing to my doing this on and off for 12+ years
reviews are based on initial impressions/reactions to first viewings or what I remember them being if I haven’t already TWOL’d them
The reviews themselves, structured thusly:
a still of the film in question
the title (obviously)
the review
the rating out of 5, in quarters for additional flexibility
photo credit
tags containing film title, genre, year of release, actors and the usual ‘film reviews’, the blog title, etc etc
VERY important things to note:
everything is queued, so if you send an ask and I don’t answer for a while, that’s the reason
this pinned post is likely to change over time
I am not a professional reviewer. please do not take me super seriously. if you think I have been fair or unfair on a film, that’s your issue
