“Sherlock!” John admonished. Sherlock blinked, his eyes focusing on the man who now slumped a little further into his chair.
“No, no, he’s right,” Benedict Bridgerton said, concentrating on his fiddling hands. “You’re right about it all, although you are wrong about the puzzles.”
Sherlock restrained an eye roll.
“Oh, do tell.”
“I haven’t solved all the puzzles. That’s why I’m here—to solve the seventh puzzle.”
“The seventh puzzle?”
“Yes.”
“Which is?”
“To find Sophie Baek.”
