Alright, so she still wan’t great at talking to people. But he wasn’t just a person. The bar was crowded, remnants of a party or maybe it was just that it was a Friday night. And through the crowd she could see him, leaning against the bar talking to a million people as if it was easy as breathing. She knew what his voice sounded like, she knew the feel of his hands. He had no idea who she was. That was going to change tonight. Sure, she’d said that every night for the past two weeks, but she was determined it was going to be tonight.
She waited for an opening, and she didn’t exactly think about what she was going to say before she got there. Which resulted in her blurting, “I can see your future.” Smooth.
