After many months, my baby boy is finally here! He was a nice thing to come home to after my crappy trip to Spain.

Last year, I did a Kickstarter for Weighted Wildlife, and let me tell you how adorable and SOFT he is. Don't see a lot of goth chicken plushies out there, so that's why I got him, but he's also wonderful for stress. He's weighted like a weighted blanket is. Anyway, here is the website in case you'd like your own - there are so many animals to choose from.

Oh, and his name is Asuka, a surprise to no one who knows me. :3

I believe this is an Ayam Cemani, just don’t ask me from where. The eyes being brown rather than black makes me doubt the species tbh. (hey, I’ve never claimed to be a specialist of any sort).

Fact from the Happy Chicken Coop: The Ayam Cemani is a fairly poor egg layer. On average, they will lay around 80 eggs per year, which is around 1 egg per week.They do seem to go ‘off lay’ for an extended period of time. Apparently, they will lay 20-30 eggs and then stop laying.This can be up to 6 months, and then they will start all over again
