To go back to my blog roots and to make sense of my title, I'm going to be doing a rewatch of Gotham and counting how many times Jim says GCPD per episode. This will probably take a while, I only have time for about 1 episode per day, but I hope you join me.

Bruce Wayne X Valeska!Reader

You ran away with Jeremiah as a baby and now, you were hiding with him from Jerome 

He always vowed to protect you and you trusted him completely

Meeting when Bruce was introduced to Jeremiah for the first time 

You were nervous at first but when Jeremiah shook his hand, you became more comfortable

Always trying to hang around the lab room when your brother and Bruce were working on their project 

A LOT of flirting 

You developed a massive crush on him and he always blushed when you said something sweet 

Bruce asking you out on a date when Jeremiah goes to gather some other materials in another room 

Saying yes right off the bat 

Jeremiah not knowing that night until he realized how weird you were acting 

“You two are dating? Do you understand the danger you could be putting us in?” 

Having an hour long argument with him

But eventually you two make up and he lets it go 

Always visiting Bruce all the time 

Him comforting you when Jerome finds a way in 

Almost getting pulled onto stage until Jerome starts getting shot at 

Noticing when Jeremiah starts to act weird after his death 

Telling Bruce about it 

Which helped prepare him when your brother almost killed him 

Staying in the manor after that 

Alfred and Selena being heavily wary for you 

Until you started proving how loyal you were when you told them all about your brother’s weaknesses and secrets 

At that point, you weren’t just helping them go against any other bad guy 

You were helping them win against the same man that you once trusted with your life 

Bruce always cheering you up when he notices it getting to you 

Starts to help distract you by letting you assist in uncovering secrets from his family’s business

Taking you out to explore the same city that you used to hide inside a bunker from 

Until you see Jeremiah for the first time since the whole graveyard fiasco 

Being shaken up and scared when you two make eye contact for the first time 

When Ra Al Ghul’s minions put their hands on you and their grip was beginning to bruise you, he nudged them to loosen it 

Which helped you escape easier and get the knife to your boyfriend 

After that, Bruce would try his best to make sure that you wouldn’t ever have to see Jeremiah like that again 

But of course, it didn’t prevent *every* future encounter

Gotham Preferences | Spending The Night Together

Characters Included: Bruce, Selena, Jerome, Jeremiah (Pre & Post Spray), Oswald, Ed

Bruce Wayne

      Wanting to make you feel comfortable and at home, Bruce would start setting up the guest bedroom to accommodate you. Even though you secretly wanted to be with him instead, you wouldn’t put a fight. Mainly because you were sure if he was even comfortable with you sleeping right next to him. In the middle of the night, Bruce would be checking in on you to check if everything was okay. As he was beginning to come accustom to getting his manor broken into, he was lowkey worried for your safety. He’d find you safe, wrapped under your blankets with your back facing the door. What he didn’t know, was that you were wide awake the whole time. Eventually, you would grow tired of it all and sneak into his room, crawling into the space that was by him. Despite being a light sleeper, you managed to cuddle yourself against him, hearing his light snores fill the room. You would start to drift off to sleep, but not before you felt him turn towards you and snug himself closer to you. When morning came, he would already be well awake. You’d walk into the diner and see breakfast already served for you, obviously prepared by Alfred. You would take a seat right next to a smiling Bruce and started digging in. 

Selena Kyle

       Hating how she would have to find different places to squat at, you would try your very best to convince her to sleep over at your house with you. Selena kept rejecting your offer until she just couldn’t handle hearing the same words be repeated to her again. As you try to set everything up for the both of you in your room, Selena just couldn’t help herself to not try to start a pillow fight. Which eventually worked. You two would be distracted and tired out by around 3 AM. As you would lay down on the bed, exhausted from moving your arms so quickly, you and Selena would speak for a smile before actually drifting off the sleep. As the night progresses, she would try to hog the blankets. You would have to try to trick by either rubbing her hand or booping her nose so she would be pulled lightly out of her deep sleep. Her grip loosening on the sheets as she shifted around, you’d snatch the blanket back so it would be shared evenly. As you would wake up, she would still try to sleep in. You would then try to drag Selena off the bed as it was already noon. 

Jerome Valeska

         There was never one area that you had settled in. Always being on the run, you would have to adjust yourself to sleeping on different kinds of beds. However, you were well settled into a routine. You two would be occupied with some form of media. You were either watching shows or playing some games while Jerome would be looking the news to see his name pop up continuously. When you find out the time and then drag him to bed, you’d be laying down right next to him. He would play with your fingers as Jerome would talk about his goals and plans for the next day that would come. You never went to bed without each other, you had to have each other to fall asleep. Because without his voice, you wouldn’t be able to fall asleep to it. It wouldn’t be until he realized how long he has been rambling that he would look over to you and see your eye closed and your attention taken away from him. He would then sneak away and turn off the lights. During the whole night, you two wouldn’t be able to continue on without some form of physical contact with each other. You would wake up first but soon, Jerome would naturally follow. 

Jeremiah Valeska

Pre-spray:

       Jeremiah would often be spending the day away, either working on plans or working some notes he already had. When you were ready to go to bed, you would try to distract him and take his focus to you. As you would bring out your pouty lips, your plan would start to work. Jeremiah would try to get back to his project but your persistence would only make it harder to do. Eventually, he would give in. After turning off the lights and settling into bed, he would try to place a kiss onto your forehead. He would place his arm over you, hoping it would be enough to keep you safe from whatever could possibly happen. After a while, Jeremiah would try to sneakily go back to his lab. Of course, it rarely ever works. You would be awake before he even realized it. And for the rare times he would get away with getting past you, Ecco would be putting him back to bed the second he got out of the room. Then, you would wake up again just so you two would be spooning each other. Sometimes, you would be the bigger spoon too. He always woke up first though. Jeremiah would cook you some breakfast while giving the smallest amount to himself so he wouldn’t waste too much time. 

Post-spray:

       His obsession with work had barely changed. However, he wouldn’t get too deep to the point where he wouldn’t realize that it was almost morning again. He would try to stick by a schedule, though he’d end up passing it by 20 minutes. When you wanted him in bed on time, you would try to distract him like you used to. It wouldn’t take much effort though Jeremiah would end up turning the tables on you instead. He would try to sing, dance, and even go to playing the same piano that he had stolen weeks after you finally settled in. Around an hour or 2 later, you would realize what he was doing. As you would punch him on the shoulder, he would try to get back to whatever tactic he could find, only to fail miserably. Before you and Jeremiah would be asleep, he would go back to his ritualistic routine of giving you a kiss on your forehead. You two would be spooning until you end up sleeping on his chest. He would still wake up before you, only to have a full breakfast made. Instead of taking the small amount he used to, he would start taking the same amount as you would. 

Oswald Cobblepot

        Oswald would be occupied in papers and too sucked in to even remember the time. You would have to go in and tell him that it was well past 12. Sometimes, he would go willingly. Other times, he would be too bothered to even try. When he doesn’t, you’d tease him about how he’ll begin to get heavy eyebags and soon be called The Panda. Oswald would attempt to continue his work but eventually your statement would eat away at him until he followed you to bed. After getting into bed, he would give you a kiss on the lips and a soft smile. He would face your direction, if you were sleeping right next to him. Occasionally, he would snore but not always. Oswald would try his best to be close to you and even hold your arm in his. Despite being a heavy sleeper, he would wake up before you and have breakfast ready with an optimistic attitude with him.

Ed Nygma

       Ed would often be the one to drag you away from your work. However, how he does it would greatly depend on which persona was active at the moment. In fact, it was mainly what tipped you off on who you were talking to in the first place. If it was the regular Ed that you originally fell in love with, he would gently hold you from behind and lightly pull you back to him. It never took much to notice his intention was to basically go to bed and cuddle. When it was the Riddler, he would attempt to seduce you so you would lead him to your room. To loosen you up, he would place kisses on your neck. Once you are in bed, you’d start a small conversation about your day in soft, gentle voices. Your legs would become entangled as you began to fall asleep. Ed was a very light snorer and who woke up first would sometimes alter between you and him. If he woke up first and the Riddler was out, he would be working on having his plans ready for the day, including blueprints. If Ed came out instead, he would coddle you with affection and have breakfast prepared for the both of you.
