Here’s a hat I made a while ago. You ever make something and think ‘ This is such a good idea, I bet it’ll sell so fast.’ Yeah well I’ve been dragging this hat back and forth to markets for years now 😂. I still think it’s a really cute idea, and completely hand sewn. It just needs to find the right person.

Do you like the roses lining this hat?  I made them.  It’s a cool technique with no sewing required that I might post a tutorial on sometime.  I’d have to experiment with this, but I think it would also be possible to make them from strips of fabric!

I made another hat! This one has a veil made of antique black lace, a leather bow shaped like a bat, a tiny howlite skull, and a single handmade rose on the back. I really like hats with veils. It’s like having a nice barrier between you and other people.
