ANNOUNCEMENT: Matthew Gallagher Named Rowenta Ambassador.
I am very excited to announce that I have been named one of Rowenta’s brand ambassadors for 2014! I am proud to be working with Rowenta Canada this year on their #gotsteam campaign and have been simply amazed by their products. As a designer, it is very important for me to use the best quality tools to prep and care for my collections. As most of you know, I am a lover of fine Italian fabrics so high-end products such as steamers and irons are of the utmost importance so I can achieve professional results.
Spring/Summer calls for beautiful, delicate fabric choices. My “Villa Pink” halter dress from SS14 (pictured above) was constructed with cady and lined with silk gazer to add volume at the neckline. It has a beautiful drape and liquid movement - perfect for a balmy summer evening.
I am always concerned with how to care for my garments, I need to get the best results and avoid any damages which can occur far too easily with the wrong products. I was blown away by the Rowenta Roll & Press Garment Steamer - so much power and precision! When I work with evening wear, steamers are a life (and time) saver. I am able to consistently cover large areas of fabric and achieve a flawless finish in a short amount of time. Anyone who has ever done a photo shoot or prepped backstage before a show knows that fast, top of the line results are extremely valuable!
