Food is a shared love language between both Gods, so they both cook together. If Kratos can find the correct ingredients, then he surprises Týr by making Greek meals.
Týr has all types of tea for Kratos to help him relax and loves to shares different cultural recipes from across the world.
After days of harassing Kratos, Týr finally is able to convince him to do yoga. Kratos makes a valiant effort to be open-minded but he does not enjoy it. In the end Týr accepts this and is just glad that he tried.
Another thing Týr introduces to Kratos is meditation and mindfulness, which at first he doesn't see the value but soon ends up appreciating it. The Spartan even uses it sometimes but only if his usual ways of calming down doesn't work.
Despite generally not talking about his past, Kratos enjoys teaching Týr things about his homeland, like Greek words or fighting techniques like Pankration. He especially finds it charming how Týr accent shows when he speaks Greek.
Both bond over there love for collecting artifacts. Specifically Týr shows Kratos the clothes gifted to him from the country's he visted. At first it doesn't fully interest Kratos, until Týr walks out in a Himation. This pleasantly suprises and arouses him, to see the man wearing his homeland's fashion.
They train and workout together. Týr likes to bring friendly competition and always tries to outdo Kratos. He doesn't always win but he has fun anyway.
Once in a while when the weather is right, Týr and Kratos bathe together in a hot spring found in the wilderness of Midgard because they can't normally bathe together in-doors. The act of washing each other unravels bitter-sweet memories for the Spartan and makes him think of Atreus of Sparta but he's able to push that aside to enjoy the present.
The Fluff
Kratos is enamored with Týr's hair. He especially enjoys seeing him wear a bun or ponytail. Eventually Týr notices this and offers the Spartan to comb or braid it whenever he please.
Kratos blushing is extremely difficult to see because of the layers of ash on his skin but Týr notices the subtle change in his cheek colors.
Týr on the other hand, blushes fairly easily and it's becomes more noticeable when his whole face, ears, and shoulders turn pink.
Týr bifrost eyes subtlely glow when happy or excited but gets darker when he's sad or afraid.
The Angst
Kratos has an irrational fear of Týr losing feelings for him or getting bored and leaving to travel because he struggles to accept the Aseir's unconditional love. While Týr has a rational fear of losing Kratos because once he was free from imprisonment, everyone he knew either died or forgot about him.
Both feel eternally grateful to one another, that the other saved them. As Týr mentality heals Kratos in Valhalla, while Kratos physically rescued Týr from imprisonment.
Both struggle with rest. Kratos has insomnia and is a light sleeper because he was conditioned to always be ready for battle. While Týr struggles to stay asleep, as he is haunted by nightmares of waking back in his jail cell.
As a result of Týr's century long imprisonment, he developed claustrophobia and gets anxious if he stays in-doors for long periods of time.
Also Týr is touched starved because of the painful isolation. Now he's much more clingy then he would normally be pre-imprisonment.
Another result of Týr's imprisonment was torture scars. Specifically deep flogging slashes on his back from Odin's magical whip. The All-Father intentionally targeted the spine because his son enjoys yoga, so now it would hurt constantly. Not only that but the scars didn't heal properly because the Aesir had no medical attention.
This caused the usually confident Týr to develop a insecurity about the scars, since he felt shameful by how his father branded him.
Unfortunately Týr didn't tell anyone about this and kept it hidden. However that changed when he meets Kratos because he knows the Spartan has ugly scars of his own and will not judge.
Ultimately with time and trust, Kratos is able to see Týr at his most vulnerable and clean his back injuries. Which is a impactful bonding moment for both of them.
The Beginning & The Realization
In Valhalla many intense fights unfold but when things get too close and too sexually charged, they freeze, separate, and immediately pretend nothing happened.
Lots of subconscious lingering touches happen. Like Týr and Kratos holding a handshake for a few seconds too long or Týr placing his hand on Kratos shoulder and leaving it there for a while.
I'm not sure what the specific trigger will be but eventually Kratos realizes that he never had another sparing partner since Atreus of Sparta. Also before Valhalla, the Spartan was fighting only for survival or protection but now he's able to fight for the love of combat.
Another thing Kratos notices is that Atreus of Sparta was his first and last boyfriend. Sure, he engagements with men since then but it was few a far in-between. Since Ancient Greece was strongly homophobic and Scandinavia wasn't any better.
All of these new feelings manifested physically in Valhalla. First it showed as a mysterious Corinthian Helmet in the scrying pool, then in the inner reaches Kratos entered a new era. It was a battlefield where Atreus of Sparta died and he was surrounded by enemies. Suddenly Kratos knew who this was about and immediately panicked, getting forced out of Valhalla.
For the first time in a long time, Kratos felt genuine dread and fear. So he frantically picked up Mímir, got on the boat, and pushed his way off the black shores. The head obviously knew something was wrong but could tell by Kratos blank stare, that he wasn't fully present. So he allowed the Spartan to row in silence and bring them home.
Once in the safe and private confined of the Cabin did Mímir confront Kratos about what happened. It certainly wasn't easy for the Spartan but eventually he told everything to the head. Ironically Mímir already figured out that Kratos liked Týr but decided to hold back the "I knew it". Instead, he helped his friend and encouraged him to confess to Týr.
After a few weeks of completely avoiding Valhalla and the complications within it Kratos returned. With Mímir's emotional support, he managed to get back to the battle ground, fight off the hoards of enemies, and be there to hold the warrior when Atreus of Sparta died instead of being too late.
This pleased Valhalla and allowed Kratos to finally reach Týr in the Tholos arena. Naturally the Aesir doesn't want to fight, since he hasn't seen the Spartan in weeks and is deeply concerned. Unfortunately Kratos can't communicate normally, so he begins to attack Týr. Literally and physically fighting his bisexual thoughts.
Soon Kratos ends up winning but once seeing his opponents on the floor, beaten and bloody yet still smiling. It instantly makes the Spartan confess his feelings.
A lot of things happen afterwards that I haven't fully figured out but basically Týr feels the same way, accepts the confession, and Kratos apologizies and patches up the injuries.
Dating Life
Kratos and Týr both agree immediately to not label themselves because they want to take things slow. So their relationship is not public and only a few people even know because they prefer to keep things private.
Later on, they do end up becoming official but they still don't do public displays of affection because they're both reserved. However they do small shows of affection, like placing a hand on the shoulder or Kratos giving yearning stares and Týr smiling at him.
On a rare occasion when Kratos is feeling bold, he'll very non-chalantly hold Týr hand or interwind there fingers. Also sometimes when Kratos is sitting down and feels exhausted, he'll leans his weight on Týr.
In private Kratos adores cuddling and being the small spoon, since Týr being much larger makes him feel safe. However he'll never verbally ask to be held because he's too prideful. So Kratos just stand closer and gives Týr a look that says everything.
In general Kratos main love language is acts of service and physical touch. While Týr main love language is words of affirmation and quality time.
Týr enjoys calling Kratos pet names and is a little bit possessive. Some examples are sweet Spartan or my Spartan, my warrior, my strength, my treasure, my partner, my dearest or just my dear.
On the other hand, Kratos doesn't use pet names and just calls Týr by his name and on occasion calls him Northerner or partner. Also although Kratos know Týr is more then capable of defending himself, he can't help his instincts to be protective.
Meeting the Family
Both deeply relate to one another because of there dysfunctional families and terrible fathers Zeus and Odin.
Although Týr knows most of Kratos homeland family is dead, he still wished he could have met Kratos' mother Castillo, brother Deimos, wife Lysandra, and children Calliope & Pandora.
Thankfully Atreus is alive but since he left Midgard, it takes a few years until Týr can see him. However he has heard many stories of Atreus and admires the wonderful young man Kratos has raised.
Eventually when they meet one another, Atreus is very shocked but then becomes excited, as he realizes his childhood hero is alive. Immediately he asks Týr millions of questions and the God laughs as he enjoys the boy's enthusiasm. Kratos watches the interaction with satisfaction but soon that joy fades into anxiety, as he only introduced Týr as a comrade.
After giving his son a few days to process everything he missed, Kratos takes Atreus on a walk in the Wildwoods and sits on a log near a river. Once Atreus sits down, Spartan takes the peaceful moment to carefully explain that in his absence, he felt lonely and found someone else, and that person is Týr.
Atreus is stunned and confused at first but once Kratos elaborates that Týr will never replace the love he has for Faye. The boy starts to relax and accept the relationship because he doesn't want his father to stay stuck grieving his mother.
Slowly the fact that his father is dating the legendary Týr sinks in and Atreus starts to feel giddy by how surreal it all is. Although he never imagine his father being with another person, he couldn't be happier that his father is with his childhood hero. So Atreus decides to ressure Kratos by telling him that "If anyone would be worthy of his father's love, it's Týr."
Thrúd like everyone else, is naturally shocked by the reveal but immediately become supportive since she wants her uncle Týr to be happy. Plus she likes Kratos and admires his strength. So Thrúd has no problem with them dating.
Unfortunately the same cannot be said for Sif, since she doesn't like Kratos and always will hold a grudge for the God who killed her son. Therefore she took offense by the news, feeling betrayed and disturbed that Týr would date someone who killed his brothers. However despite disapproving the relationship, she's convinced by Thrúd to behave cordial. Only for the sake of keeping the peace.
Married Life
After being together for multiple years, Kratos realizes he wants to take things further with Týr and marry him but is nervous to propose, so with Mímir's assistance and encouragement he does it.
Týr is shocked and slightly hesitant at first because he's never been married but then decides to accepts it because he trusts and loves Kratos.
On the day of the wedding, it's was a small private event as only friends and family were invited. Also the wedding was a beautiful mixture of both Greek and Norse tradition.
The wedding happened in autumn, which is a small reference to Zisa. She's the Goddess of harvest who is theorized to be mythology Týr's wife.
Týr was naturally great with kids but never desired having a family. Mainly because he was always focus on exploring the world and having his own independent life.
However that changed when Týr became married to Kratos because once he met Atreus, he began to understand the joys of children and slowly warmed up to the idea of having a family.
While building his son in law relationship with Atreus, Týr never acted like his parent because he respected Faye and didn't want to overstep boundaries. So in general Týr acted more like a mentor towards Atreus because he was friendly, compassionate, and gave advice.
Eventually as time went on, Atreus bonded more with Týr and started to view him as a parental figure. One day he accidentally called Týr dad and that made the God almost tear up because he was honored to be his step-father.
Fanfic or Fanart based on this post is acceptable but you must credit me by name
A/n: wanted to make some girlfriend freya headcanons since apparently no one is doing it (¬_¬;). Anyways, reader is freya’s midgardian girlfriend ;).
♥︎ you two first met when Freya was on a journey through the nine realms and eventually arrived in Midgard. From the moment she saw you, she was immediately drawn to your kindness, compassion, and… beauty.
♥︎ after the two of you talked for a bit, Freya became intrigued by you and wanted to know more about you. So, she began visiting Midgard whenever she could and offered to take you on small dates to get to know you better, until eventually you two became more than friends.
♥︎ At the start of the relationship, she was a little shy and awkward. Giving her a compliment was almost her biggest fear, as she would blush furiously and stutter a lot. Considering it was her first time with a woman, she wasn’t quite sure how to act.
♥︎ but as time went by, she found herself becoming more comfortable around you and eventually asked if you’d like to come live with her in Vanaheim (which you obviously agreed to).
♥︎ She would take you all across her realm, showing you where she was born, where she and her brother used to play, where her people trained, feasted, and celebrated, and even Vanaheim’s most sacred places.
♥︎ she shows her love through the simplest things. She’ll hold your hand as you travel together, move a little closer when sitting beside you, make you homemade soup despite being a terrible cook, let you lean against her, and take care of you when you’re sick.
♥︎ Freya loves a good time with you. She would often challenge you to races, with the loser having to clean both of your armor. Though it was unfair, because she’d always cheat by using her valkyrie wings to get to the finish line. Even then, she would never admit that it was cheating despite all your protests.
♥︎ And oh, she’d definitely tease you a lot. She would poke your side unexpectedly, point out when you get shy after a compliment with a smirk on her face, and gives you the knowing look whenever you messed something up and thought no one noticed. All that just to see you get flustered.
♥︎ her favorite cuddling position is when you lie on top of her while she buries her face into your neck and wraps her arms around your waist.
♥︎ she always has to lean down a little when she kisses you ( that woman is 6’2 ⊙ω⊙ ).
♥︎ Freya is a very patient person. She’d listen to you complain and spill your heart out all day long. She loves the fact that you feel safe enough to open up to her about personal stuff, and she would most definitely sort out whatever problem you have.
♥︎ she didn’t know what a period was since she was a goddess and never experienced it. Needless to say, she was freaking out when she saw the pool of blood on the fur beneath you after waking up next to you. She kept insisting that she had to take a look at it, but it turned into a two-hour session of trying to explain the concept of periods to her.
♥︎ sometimes, when you’re feeling lazy and refuse to get up, she’ll throw you over her shoulder and carry you outside.
♥︎ one of her favorite activities is lying beside you on the grass at midnight while everyone else at the camp is asleep, gently running her fingers through your hair and gazing at Vanaheim’s night sky until you both fall asleep.
♥︎ no matter how much she loves you, she could never commit to a marriage. After all that she endured in her past marriages, the thought of being bound to someone again is something she cant bring herself to do. Of course, she knows you would never hurt her or break her heart but she’d rather keep the relationship as it is.
Ugh it was better in my head(⋟﹏⋞). I felt like we needed more of freya on here :3
-Comes off as a tsundere yandere, its kinda scary when he likes you and pretending like he doesn’t
-Bullies the shit out of you
-Makes fun of you all the time :(
-Will especially make fun of your body
-if you’re skinny: he’ll call you boyish and asks if you’re really a woman and how maybe he should “check”
-if you’re chubby: he’ll call you a cow, *his* cow and will make disgusting inhumane comments about your tits
-No one else is allowed to make fun of you though (besides Odin, sorry)
-He caught some helmet-head talking about your body in a derogatory way (probably to impress Heimdall), Heimdall proceeded to beat the shit out of them and make them get on their hands and knees and apologize to you
-Will want to brand you, originally wanted to do it with an iron but other Aesir started to judge him and Odin told him to chill out… so Odin gave him a magical seal that can act like a brand (inspo pics at the end of what that brand would look like)
-His favorite thing is to watch you, both when you know and don’t know that he’s watching you
-Heimdall likes to surprise you while you’re busy and you least expect it, when you just used the bathroom and are leaving? You open the door to his purple eyes calling you disgusting.
-Why does he treat you like so? It’s because you’re a temptress.. purposely doing what you do to seduce him. How does it feel? Do you feel good knowing you have the Harold of Ragnarök wanting you? You’re disgusting for dressing like a whore but *fine* he’ll treat you like one
silly little headcanon: if baldur had access to modern music, he would unironically blast pepeyo, goreshit, daijoubu-p, mindless self-indulgence, circus of dead squirrels, pink guy, 4lung, insane clown posse, and other weird or disturbing shit... (thats his music taste guyz dont judge him... </3) heimdall would absolutely DESPISE him for that lmaooo
Well I'm in class, bored as hell and tonight I had this idea. I haven't seen anyone writing something like this but it could be funny.
Here is almost every character mentioned, but due I'm going to mention alcohol, drugs and violence, and Trùd and Atreus are kids. I'm not going to mention them. Let's just say that they're on a "kids zone".
TW: Alcohol, drugs and violence mentions, please if you're minor do NOT read this.
🎟️,, ~ Let's start!
The night had just started and everyone still sober, the music starts playing and it's time to have fun.
Mimir, since he's just a head and can't dance, it's with Sindri taking care of people stuff, like the weapons. To make the party a safe place everyone has to leave their weapons at the entrance.
Brok is the one who attends the bar, he makes cocktails and give "advice" to drunk people.
Let's be honest, he's not the best person to ask for advice, but there's anyone more besides him.
His tips are simple, if you like someone, go ahead and kiss them and try to conquer them. If someone It's annoying, then punch them in the face!
Thor is the one who recieves this last advice, he has been annoyed by Heimdall like always, so now he's drunk, he finds that idea very interesting.
Well, Heimdall is leaning against a wall, he's not really drunk, but he's a little affected by alcohol, so when he sees Thor reeling towards him, he looks at his eyes and immediately knew what was going to happen.
Thor tried to punch Heimdall, but he dodges every single blow that Thor tries to give him.
H: "I'm sorry, did you just tried to hit me? You idiot."
T: "DOn't YOu dARe to CALl mE IDioT!"
H: "Okay! You drunk monkey!"
T: "WhaT DId yøU JÛsT CæLl Me?!"
At this point a good amount of people just formed a circle around these two.
Odin was staring at them like "What did I do to have this pair of idiots as sons"
Some people like Freyr were too drunk to understand what was happening and they were just screaming: "Fight, fight, fight!"
The fight was lame, and when Tyr (The real one) arrived, he really tried to make them stop.
Tyr tried to calm down Thor, and Heimdall just walked away.
And Sif, Sif was mad as hell at Thor, she and Thor left the party soon, as Sif said: "You have done enough"
And Kratos... Well, he's there, but he's not even drinking, he's just there making sure that his friends are okay and Odin doesn't try something when they're drunk.
He weren't planning to go but Freya ask him to go with her and he thought it could be interesting and maybe he could learn something about Odin or his plans.
Freya was enjoying the party, she's not the heart of the party, but, you know who it is? Freyr.
Freyr is having the BEST time of his life, he's drinking, dancing on the floor like he was at the end of the world.
Baldur was there too, dancing with Freyr, he can't get drunk, but he's trying really hard, he's drinking everything he sees (and doing some drugs) he really WANTS to feel something.
The party starts going out of hands, someone, ahem, ahem, Odin, put something on the drinks while nobody was seeing.
Everyone starts doing things that normally they wouldn't do. Even Tyr and Freya are giving everything on the dance floor.
Heimdall wasn't drinking anymore, he knew what Odin has done but he's not going to question the all-father's behaviour.
Kratos it's fine too, he haven't drunk anything on the entire night, but he's having a great time anyways. There's no need to get drunk, you can have fun without alcohol.
Sindri, Brok and Mimir once everyone is too busy doing things that they will regret tomorrow. They meet together at the bar, Sindri is worried, he thinks that the party has gone out of hands, but Brok tell him to relax, anyone is dying.
When the party is over everyone ends sleeping where they can. Kratos takes Freya to her house but leaves the rest to his own luck.
Freyr and Baldur during the party were like best friends and they wake up next to each other lying on the ground. (Nothing weird, they fell asleep dancing)
Odin left after Kratos, but Heimdall stayed there annoying everyone.
Heimdall wakes up on the entrance of the party, he was so annoying that when he fell asleep everyone agreed on getting ride of him.
Sindri and Brok left and gone home leaving Mimir on the bar.
Everyone left Mimir :(
The next morning everyone woke up with a headche.
Baldur, Freyr and Heimdall found Mimir on the bar.
Mimir would definitely tell them about everything that happened last night, everyone feels a little embarrassed.
But at the end was funny and nobody was hurt.
🎟️,, ~ End
(WHAT WITH THIS GIF I LOVE IT)
That was funny! I spend alomst 2 hours writing, maybe more, maybe less but I hope all liked it :)
And if someone read this and is a minor, bad! I told you this wasn't for kids! But don't worry I understand you, when I was a kid I did that too and I'm normal haha.
Jokes aside, you don't need of alcohol to have fun and this is a fanfic, it's not real and it's not a good example or parties!
