Geisha Pretends to be a Blind Itinerant Minstrel
This was a popular real-life occupation for many Japanese studio photographers to "capture" during the 19th Century. I have seen at least three or four Geisha playing the part of a Blind Female Beggar, including TOKIMATSU, the "Smiling Geisha".
Called Gozenobo in Japanese, these women are now a thing of the past.
