You didn't deserve that bronze medal at the GP Final.

That was FIVE YEARS AGO. I don't have ANYHTING to do with scoring. I just go and skate, and the judges put me wherever they will. IT'S NOT MY FAULT.

Day 15: Favourite Season - 2016-17 Season
This was hard because I feel like I could really love this season too but it’s not over yet so I’m going with last season... Also because it was an undefeated season so... yeah, it was great.

I've seen a post about two Italian commentators saying that Yuzuru did an Euler + 4S... I watched lots of practice videos of the GPF16 but I'm still don't know what that means... Can you explain me? Thank you already
Hi there~ An “Euler” refers to a half-loop (written as “1Lo”). The Euler is used so that a skater can change edge from a right back outside (RBO) edge to a left back inside (LBI) edge. All jumps are landed on the RBO edge, so if a skater wants to do a Salchow as the 2nd jump in a combination, they need to change to the LBI edge using an Euler because the Salchow takes off from the LBI edge.***
*** Left and right are reversed for skaters who rotate clockwise in the air.
Yuzuru did a 2S+1Lo+4S combination during the GPF16 gala practice (video) so the commentators said he did an Euler + 4S. I gif’d the Euler + 4S part so you can see more clearly what I mean (sorry about the words blocking his feet, I couldn’t find another video):
It’s an extremely weird combination that he will probably never do in competition. I think he meant to do a 4S, but popped it into 2S, so he decided to tack on a 4S behind using an Euler… cos #YOLO… -.-
