The park that she was reading in was quiet, people were milling around, kids were playing on the swings nearby & it was the first time Hyera really felt at peace. The past few days had been hectic, aside from only just joining the Ivory Hand, the attack had left all members feeling uneasy. The book on amnesia wasn’t exactly helping her, even when she tried to remember her past, it all just seemed like figments of imagination ---she couldn’t tell between dreams and reality.
She’s lost in her own thoughts until a dog approaches her and begins licking her hand, though surprised, Hyera has no hesitation in crouching down from her seat, putting the book to the side and cuddling the dog, everything about the moment felt like HOME. She could feel something she didn’t understand, was this dog hers? Was the owner her friend? Hyera wasn’t quite sure. Looking up to find it’s shocked owner, Hyera quickly backs away, awkwardly giggling. “I’m sorry, your dog just r-ran up to me for no reason....they’re s-super cute though, is it a he or a she? “ Looking up again Hyera’s face falters, she knows that this person is familiar but she can’t quite FIGURE out why.”It’s w-weird, I feel like we’ve met before, I’m a doctor you know, I don’t think I should be f-forgetting things or faces so easily.”
