I'm not caught up so forgive me if you've already addressed this, but if there are angels in this world. Does that mean there are also devils? And if so, do the angels and devils have "specializations" (like related to the vices and virtues)? Are there saints?

There are demons in the world and you have met one if you are on certain routes in book 2. The demons don't necessarily have the vices and virtues kind of powers to them but they are slick and they are good at what they do. However, I would hesitate to say they are the typical "evil" that we see in a lot of stories. They are perhaps more on the line of tricksters. Ones with dire results at times. They are far more attracted to chaos than anything else.

As for saints, there are Gracelings. It is unclear if there are many Gracelings left out there but they were the ones blessed by the Knowing and have immense power to heal and cleanse.

I’m not sure what you mean, the dells has their established monarchy and even tho the king is a huge dork they seem to be doing pretty well.

Personally, I’m all in favor of a coup to overthrow Randa and put Raffin on the phone.

My friends mom is letting me borrow the graceling realm series!

I am so excited! I've been wanting to finish this series for a while and every time I go back to the library to check them out they are always out! 

Now I just need to stop being a pussy and finish Shadow of Night. 

I wouldn't be dragging my feet if there was at least a release date for book 3. If I'm waiting two years for a conclusion I'll end up going nuts, and or forcing my self to forget about the series. Both of those options do not sound fun, and I don't want to experience either of them. firstworldproblems.

I'm off to go drag my feet some more! :)
