The idea of Elain and Azriel flying together has taken up so much space in my brain. I knew I had to draw them in such a way!

@santkazoya was the lovely human that brought up the Thumbelina reference for this piece, I lay no claim on what her beautiful brain comes up with. This song fits them so perfectly! I added a couple nods to the song in this piece that you’ll see here.

For “let me take you far beyond the stars,” you can see stars sparkling in the distance, just starting to show as the sun sets.

“Everyday I’ll take you higher and never let you fall.” This line from the song is shown through their position here. Azriel is below Elain, always there to catch her. 🦇💗

Hello. A couple things here.

So I never thought I’d have to make this kind of post, or put any kind of “rules” on my blog, but here we are. I’ll make this short and sweet.

Firstly, I do not allow any reposts of my art without my explicit knowledge and consent. Especially if it’s to Pinterest, aka a playground for AI training. All you have to do is ask, and respect my answer (which more often than not is yes.)

I’ve had to private a lot my artwork on here to stop the spread of people reposting/using without any credit. I don’t want to do that. I love sharing with you guys.

Secondly, I do not spend many many hours of my free time for anyone’s specific taste. I create art that brings me joy and I share it because I want to. It’s not fucking homework I’m turning in for you guys to grade :)

If you don’t like it, leave me alone.

That is all. I truly, deeply love all of you and will continue to share my art for those who enjoy it. My ask box has been completely purged, so if you sent me something, I apologize.
