I know a lot of people have theories that one or the other Archeron sister will “revive the Dusk Court”, but cannon wise — it’s not gonna happen.

CC3 House of Flame and Shadow: Bryce says the mountain belongs to her. She also says, “She'd let them out if she restored the mountain to its former glory.” Them being the prison inmates. 

This is why reading ALL the books is important.

The series can be read in any order, but you might find it more rewarding you read ACOTAR before Crescent City.

Yeah there’s still been no recommendation to read CC HOFAS before ACOTAR 6–8. Which, to me, means that anything important included in HOFAS will be covered in the upcoming books without needing to read CC at all.

So I didn’t read Hofas yet but I just saw a part of the Hofas BC. And it’s very interesting that Azriels shadows danced in that Bc too 😝😝 to music 😝😝

Also interesting that Sarah wanted to make clear that he doesn’t have a spouse or mate.. makes you wonder why she even place it right?? Don’t worry Az your spouse is the FMC of Acotar 6 🙂‍↕️

Same anon as the Ember-Randall bonus chapter ask. I agree. I don't think he's in a relationship yet because he said as much in the other BC with Bryce and Nesta in the caves. One can argue he wouldn't want to give a truthful answer to a stranger, but when Azriel's story does come, it will obviously take longer for his relationship to develop than a couple of months. So yeah, we can safely say he isn't in a relationship rn. BUT, that doesn't mean he isn't catching feelings for someone, or at least striking a special friendship with this special someone. One thing I'm excited to see in the next book is the timeline, and how SJM uses HOFAS's events. She may start after the events of HOFAS, but I think there will be an overlap, because a time jump doesn't make sense plot-wise atp. At least, ACOTAR6 will start with a timeline concurrent to the events of HOFAS, and then extend beyond that. Which is why all these little breadcrumbs are important.

Not exactly on topic, but in the same vein since we’re talking about Azriel and his love life, I think it’s interesting that Elain was the only character to not have even a little cameo in the CC crossover (besides Mor, though I think that makes more sense especially if she’s still on the continent doing the work she has been).

I figured Elain was around considering at the end of CC2 Bryce notes the smell of fresh flowers and baking bread, but I also think it’s a glaringly obvious clue that Sarah didn’t have her make an appearance. It’s like Sarah/the IC is further alienating her from the IC and her story away from them, which in my personal opinion seems contradictory to someone that would be an endgame with Azriel. Something that isn’t the first time to happen: I mention this in a post that even though Elain was in attendance at the Solstice ball in the Hewn City in ACOSF she completely vanishes from the scene after Eris is told that he’s to dance with Nesta. Which makes me believe that even if they let Elain be a part of something they still don’t let her do anything.

I’m going somewhere with this lol to tie this in with you’re interested to see how Sarah will tie in what happened/pick up after that, it makes me curious how she’s going to bring in the other characters who are a big part of the ACOTAR story and didn’t make an appearance either in the crossover as it wasn’t needed, but like Lucien and Eris.

Just this discussion makes me wonder what’s been happening in Prythian, in the ACOTAR world in the time since ACOSF and leading up to the CC3 events like I’m so curious about that too and how it’s going to affect future events in Prythian 👀
