My grad cap because I freaking graduated high school today!!!!

I’m don’t have the body of a model, I don’t have flawless skin. I have batwings and pancake thighs. My cheeks fold when I smile and my eyes crinkle. My hair is never one colour, my teeth are never white. My eyes are asymmetrical, just like my makeup.
So no — I’m not skinny, nor perfect, not healthy or of sound mind.
But I’ve been through hell and crawled my way back. I’ve lost friends and family, but the connections I built with the ones who stayed has only grown stronger. I’m not a pristine vessel, but with my anchors by my side, I’ll carry anyone across sea and sky.
No, I’m not perfect. But I was never meant to be. I am exactly who I was made to be, and I will only continue to grow.
And when I leave this plane, it won’t be with the body of a model and it definitely won’t be with flawless skin. It’ll be with my batwings and pancake thighs, my crinkles and dyed hair, my vampire fangs and asymmetrical makeup.
I will leave nothing but the happiest memories for those who stayed. For those who made me realize I never needed to be perfect.
