I blinked and here I am typing a caption about how I am the first in my family to graduate college. The first in my family to get a B.A. in Journalism and Media Studies. The first in my family to….. I don’t know. Probably something else, maybe not. I can write about how it’s hard to be the first at anything and how it takes great courage to follow your dream, no matter how big or small. I can probably write how I legit have no idea how I graduated and mentally exhausting the whole college thing was. I can write about all of that…but… I guess I’ll just that I am very proud of myself and everyone else who dared to go in debt. I am very proud.

Shout out to my family who literally told me I could be anything from forensic scientist to singer to teacher. I’ve obviously chosen a different path, but no matter y’all believed in this little alien. I love you.
