Doriane and Abbi need to be in F1 ASAP. Lots of other talented female drivers too probably but these two especially have no business being in any series that isn't at least f2 right now. Don't care who needs to go some of these guys are just taking up space. I ask again, what is the end goal of F1 "academy"?

To give this even more context, this user also posted Lando's H2H in his first 4 years in F1 against competitive teammates. It was 60.3%.

So, no, Oscar apparently still being a rookie in his 4th year isn't an excuse. "4th year rookie" Lando was whooping ass, not getting his ass whooped week in and week out.

if anything, all that situation is going to create when lando finds out about the depth of it is a lot less cooperation from his side with any future team orders. because if oscar isn't punished for ignoring them, it's not exactly like stella can follow through on his threats to remove lando from the team should he choose to ignore them. and well, even if stella does, he's just going to create another shit show for mclaren and give up any hope they had of higher WCCs finishes the next few years, whereas lando would be fine and would have teams lining up for his services, so like ...... please do remove him from his seat, stella. i would love nothing more.

Nothing annoys me more than seeing landorinas now put Spa down as one of his worst tracks. There's a difference between poor performance due to track characteristics and poor performance due to team/strategy fumbles. Not that I'm saying last weekend was poor performance, because it wasn't. But Spa is by no means a Bad Track for Lando.

Did I not tell you guys before this weekend even started that he's actually a really damn good driver around this track and save for the year he was grieving his grandparent and had a legitimate excuse to have a little off weekend, it's legitimately always McLaren or the FIA screwing him over here? Qatar is the same exact way too. Monaco, which people were also claiming Lando was shit at this year even before the race, is another example of that imo.

Even conventionally genuinely bad Lando tracks like Jeddah, it's 9 times out of 10 just him starting on the backfoot because he pushes it in quali and fucks up than it is him having these weekends where his pace literally is nowhere in sight like his teammate.

Isn't that why the actual TPs/race engineers/strategists are employed by a Formula 1 team - to come up with a good strategy using foresight?!! You know - during the race, when it actually helps! Every time I think I'm over the strategy blunder yesterday, I just remember that they were adamant about their usual fear of double stacking yesterday, but were steadfast in their assertion that if there was a safety car in Silverstone last year, they would've double stacked Lando and forced him to also serve Piastri's penalty solely to protect Piastri's chance for a win at Silverstone instead of prioritizing the driver who hadn't made errors and hadn't acquired penalties and had the best chance of actually securing them the win at Silverstone. Andrea Stella and Co. have had some real fucking audacity in their favoritism and infantilization of Piastri for years, and I can't believe there are some Lando fans just NOW reaching that realization.

why is everyone discounting Norris' pace this weekend as only being due to a new PU component when most of the drivers of the top 4 teams, including his teammate and Kimi and Max and Isack, also had brand new PU components?

Watching McLaren be ripped to shreds by their own fans is quite the sight. And richly deserved.

At least we all seem to have the same hymn sheet.

Not sure I’ve seen a single person thinking Oscar deserved P5 today. We all know Lando should have been 15 seconds further down the road if not for the team’s incompetence.

But this happened last season, McLaren’s incompetence glazed Oscar and masked what Lando was doing. It’s why people got so pissy at the end of the season when McLaren stopped being incompetent and Lando just left Oscar for dust.

Oh and I think Andrea is about to get crucified as well.
